What's new

Guess I was on the wrong forum all along?

Hello everyone, Brad from AZ.

Originally ordered a Tremor on June 16th, the day they went live, and after getting rolled week after week, and eventually to a 2022, I managed to snag one from a local dealer at X-plan. All it was missing from my original build was the Torsen option, and I have since come to terms with that. :)

Picked up Sept 30th.

Plan on adding the AFE Scortcher tune after we see a few more positive data points - Looking to mop up on the all the Raptors in the neighborhood. ;)

Picking up my new travel trailer this weekend and have a couple hundred miles home to get familiar with it. Handling and squat will determine the plan for a lift.

Leaning towards a shock upgrade 2" level and sticking to 33s, either Fox or Falcon (I like their tow-mode selector) once they confirm '21/Tremor fitment. (I know there are some '21s out there with both setups but I'm waiting for the manufacturer to give the thumbs up and see the difference in valving/dimensions vs the prior gen.

That's all for now. Look forward to contributing to the forum.
nice set up, do like the cold air intake? notice a difference in anything?

Loving your set up. I just picked mine up from the shop today to have it leveled. Got the side marker lights too that I need to install over the weekend. Love these damn trucks!

Why would you remove the Tremor logos. That’s part of what makes this truck so badass.
To each their own. If I ordered a raptor it would not have the decal kit either. Went back and forth before removing, but after living with it for a bit, I do prefer the clean sides. I have still had a few guys pull up along side me and say "Nice Tremor," so the real ones know what it is. :)

Yeah! I mean who would... oh, wait.

For sure! I meant no disrespect. Text you can’t express tone very well. Just surprised but like you said, to each their own and yeah when you know you know! Enjoy your ride!

@BA73 are you still liking the pedalbox? Does it throw any codes?

Pedalbox, CAI, Muffler....you're set! It's been great reading your posts (super thoughtful responses). So, what's next for it?

Thank you very much! Enjoy contributing to the forum where I can.

Wrote a check last month and paid it off so that felt like a pretty big mod. 🤣

And unfortunately shes going to spend a month here soon at the body shop getting the roof repainted, few spots like this, getting covered under warranty.

Next on the list is the suspension. When my TT is hooked up and fully loaded, the rake is nearly gone; goes from 4" to under 1". A level kit won't do much good since the truck would be nose high while towing. Seems like there are some other folks here who are about to pull the trigger on a few different shock/spring setups so I'm excited to hear their experiences. 👍

I don't know whether to be happy or sad about this post. Shakespeare? Is that you?

I know man. I first noticed the hazy paint in Dec during a detail day. it's taken 4 months and multiple trips to the dealership for pics for Ford to finally approve the respray..

Unfortunately the body shop is backed up until June, and the moonroof, rear windows, headliner, doors, and a bunch of other misc interior and exterior pieces need to be removed for the paint....hence the full month they say they'll need it. Even better....Iconic Silver paint is limited and that might be an additional hold up...

really curious how your rear suspension mods go, specifically with your TT hooked up. I'd love to get something in the rear that stiffens it up enough that it only squats 2", which would then allow the 2" level up front. :D

Did you have to remove the headliner to run the wire or did you find a sub panel under the hood or by passenger side fuse box that you could connect it to without ripping the interior apart because the guy I was going to was telling me he would need to remove the headliner

For which lights specifically? Either way, answer is no. Grill lights and fender vent lights were both ran through the engine bay. Running board lights were ran up through the fenders as well and into the loom along with the fender vent lights. None of the wires enter the interior. The Aux switch wires are located in the engine bay next to the battery. Use set A.

3 days of boondocking at the lake, guys weekend with my dad and brother. Trailer was LOADED, ~6,000 lbs. Pulled a good four miles in and out to where we finally dropped it, through sand, ruts, sketchy loose dirt hills, and some squirrely off-camber twisties. Truck was an absolute champ.
