Has anyone regretting installing an exhaust?

I agree.
Nothing can touch the high RPM sound of a “F1 V10” going through the gears at wide open throttle.
Not going to lie, a small displacement flat plane V8 sounds great in the upper RPM as well, .ie. 4.3 V8 F430.

Very true.

Awesome good to hear. It showed up super quick and will be going on Friday... Had a out of town trip before could get it to the shop.
Today is install day, right?!! Looking forward to your thoughts and maybe some sound clips. Gonna be a good day.

Going on right now. Sure hope I like it because the bozos CUT my oem exhaust off. Idiots I swear.
Lol... Same shop might duct tape it back on if you don't like the borla... might be best to find a different shop.

Pictures Bro.. We need pictures!

My guess is you won't even think twice about the old stock exhaust. I am excited for you. I will be ordering mine around December. I am thinking about getting the black tips as well. I know you can keep the stock and just replace the mid pipe but I noticed the stockers don't really fill out the cutout in the bumper. The larger borla tips and rear pipe might help the sound as well.

Well it sounds good. Great start and burbly idle. Good when you get on it, little rasp above 5k, definitely can hear it if you're in Sport on city streets since it holds a higher gear. I'd say below 2k rpm cruising you don't hear it hardly at all. Highway at 70 I couldn't hear it.

Not OBNOXIOUSly loud when you start it in a townhouse garage either.

Thanks for the advice y'all.

I did crawl under before accepting it and made sure at least they didn't cut the cat side of the flange and the tip side of the flange. So. It's fine. If I ever go back to OEM I won't take it there for sure.

Hopefully Ford builds a good one for Red Bull next year!

CVF catted downpipe, I love the sound of mine now. As stated above, better sound and some gains AND cheaper
Did you keep the stock resonator by chance? I have considered doing the downpipes over an aftermarket exhaust. But I know I will have to either delete my current resonator or upgrade it regardless and that bumps my cost up to an equal sum game of buying an exhaust. This stock resonator chatter at cold start up is more pronounced now that we are seeing 40 degree mornings

It’ll be a team effort with most of the new engine design and development coming from RB. Sadly it won’t be a V8.
1.6L V6. 🤬
It’s going to be interesting because all F1 teams will have the same 1.6 engine displacement but with their own design.

I went with the MBRP dual with carbon tips. Looks and sounds like I was hoping for. I have the 5.0. My wife drove around the high ups for the company she works for and they all drive luxury cars. Every single one of them loved it.

I was actually surprised by the "smoothness" of the sound on the 3.5... sounds more "euro performance car" than "old shitty American truck" and frankly I'm fine with that! Times and technology changes.
