Honest Eibach Review Needed

Yea. That seems to be the consensus. I was hoping for 1.5 but whatever. If the rake still looks excessive I’ll take it out of the rear
It will look raked still. Get a cheap 1/2 thick solid spacer and you'll get another 1 inch lift and it will be perfect.

Can you please explain this? How does a 1/2” spacer lift a full 1”?

He was responding to my comment where I was hoping to get 1.5” front lift from the Eibach kit. What he meant was 2” total front lift would be leveled.
Reality is probably more like 1” out of the Eibach kit without having a stiff ride and not enough down travel.
I’m going to dial in the ride. Then swap in a different rear block to get the proper balance. Personally I’m okay with a touch of rake..

Not at all. A 1/2 thick puck raises the nose 1 inch. (Well a shade less than 1 inch but my tape measure sure isn't sharp enough to measure it. )

1 inch on the Eibach 2r set to max or maybe 1 thread off.

1 inch with the 1/2 inch puck.

Your nose will sit about 40.5 and the rear 42.5. That's what mine is.

Geometry class refresher

Yes the theory makes sense.
Problem is when we talk about spacers, the number we give is of its effect. Not the actual measured thickness of the spacer itself. Hence the confusion.
It would be odd to refer to a 2” levelling spacer, as a 1” spacer.

I just learned something new today. Thanks!

Suppose I can see that argument as well. I was just confused myself when I found a half inch slab of metal on top of my coilover when removing the OEM!

So is that all that lifts the Tremor over a standard F150? The coilovers aren’t longer? What about the UCAs?

Oh no no. The puck I found was definitely added by the first owner (I got it as a Gold CPO)

And DONT FORGET TO RE AIM YOUR DANG HEADLIGHTS if you lift the nose of the truck!

So I had my Eibach stage 2R kit installed this week. Only been in a few days, but I measured 40.25” ground to front wheel arch. I suspect some settling will continue in the next week or so.
So far mine are installed as shipped by Eibach. So max recommended height.

Ride is a bit firm so I’m going to take half an inch out and see how that affects ride.
Ride quality is priority #1 so if I don’t like the rake, I will remove a touch out of the rear. Probably end up with FX4 blocks.

As it sits now. I’m 40.25” front and 42.5” rear ground to wheel arch measurement.

Any bouncing feel at slow speeds like 5 mph, or after inertia rocks back coming to a stop?

No it’s firm and very well controlled. I’m going to dial in a bit more plushness because I don’t ever load up to anything close to rated payload.

The rear end jitteriness is 85% gone. Bumps and impacts are one and done now. No continued bounce after initial hit.

I hit a cattle guard and honestly didn’t feel the individual pipes.

But it is a touch too stiff for my liking out of the box. I’m going to take half an inch out (4 turns) and report back.

Thanks. Sent you a DM.
