Leveling Kit

We need to see if they will do it with their Vertex shocks. I have heard from a few people that they are the only decent riding shock RC makes. I would not drop the rear.

Side note, ICON claims the Tremor is 1.5" taller in the front from a regular F-150. If this is the case would you guys double check my math and thinking? 1.5" + 2.5" Pro Comp or Coilover = 4". NO UCA's so far. My guess is Ford did do custom UCA's that's why these kits are working. So here is my idea. I have sent an email to BDS to see if I could buy just the FOX 4" lift coilovers with DSC installed. The FOX shocks have a threaded preload so even if the truck is a little lower I could take some preload out. It would be a bolt in job and have a great riding shock that is totally adjustable. The only thing to worry about is under full compression would the shock bottom out on itself instead of the bump stops. At that point add some air bumps. I think it would work, once my truck goes to "built" I may order them if they will sell them separate to me.
 
From what I have read the front of the Tremor sits no higher than other trim levels that are running the 33" tires. The only lift is in the rear. Measurements from ground to top of wheel arch seem to the the same.
Also nobody that I know has been able to find any differences in the front suspension between the Tremor and other trim levels. Ford talks about unique suspension pieces but I am not sure if that's true. They also mention a unique grill, hood and dual exhaust for the Tremor but all of those items are available in the Black Appearance Package on the Lariat and other trim levels. So not really unique.

If that is true, then why do you loose 1.5" of lift when you install a ICON 2.75" lift coilover on a Tremor vs a stock F-150? They have been around for a while, but maybe they don't know what they are talking about. And why is the RC kit "Tremor only"? Plus people that measure from the ground don't know what they are doing. You go from the center of the wheel to the fender. It takes out any tire differences from air pressure to the actual tire size, brand, wheel width. I hear you on the new Black out package. If my Tremor does not get built soon I may cancel it now the offer it on the Platinum. Put a 4" BDS and locker and be money ahead as my back gets massaged.

Yeah not sure how ICON are getting to their numbers, maybe things are different in the front end. If the Tremor is sitting 1.5" higher in the front then guys installing 2" lift pucks would end up with a level truck rather than ending up with the rake like they do. Maybe the Tremor only has something to to with rear blocks?
Kinda hard to tell until I get my hands on mine
 
I've parked my truck beside a 2021 lariat with 33s on it and the Tremor does sit higher, so it's more than just the tires. Also the blackout appearance package is not the grill and hood of the Tremor, it's close but not identical.

Why is that? Won’t it make it level compared to still having a slight amount of rake? I just purchased this so I’m trying to make sure i’m not overlooking anything. I may see how it looks with the front done first.

This is def a new kit!
Met with a local off road shop last Monday and they called RC asking about a spacer kit. RC told manager they have a Tremor specific kit in the works to be released later this month and I was waiting on the info so I could order and post a part number to this forum.

Looks like they just released this in the last day or so?! I’ll be ordering and installing asap, and will def provide before/after pics. Though I’ll probably not install the rear lowering blocks since I think keeping a 1-1.5” rake is preferred for me since I haul gear regularly.

Interesting the 35x12.50 on the factory wheels as RC suggest is surprising, as that a very wide tire for only a 7.5” factory wheel? I’ll likely go 295/70 (34.25x12) as even that is really maxing that wheel out. Or maybe even just go aftermarket wheel to get the offset I prefer of a 9” wide wheel with +18 or 20 offset.

As stated above I prefer a little rake so it doesn't get the Carolina squat when hauling stuff.

Good looking out. I was going to call RC tomorrow and see it I could just buy the front. Looks like we know the SKU now.
I am excited to hear how the install goes and the ride quality.
 
If this is the strut coming in the kit they make it in a Vertex for $1,200.00 You guys testing this kit out need to take some good measurements for us and post a ride review.

Will do. I'm going on a trip shortly after getting the truck so I'll get ~1k miles of factory stock ride experience, and since I'd be getting them to do the alignment anyway I'll go ahead and have my dealership install it with specific instructions to abort if they see any potential issues.
 
It is strange that it’s listed as a 2.5”, yet the part listed in the kit says 3”.

Because the Tremor has more travel and sits higher than the f150, so basically it looks as if they've taken their product and repurposed it and added in the blocks to get a true level. Which disappoints me because I was hoping for Tremor specific coilover.

Me too, its basically their 3" kit for the standard F-150 minus the UCA's and rear shocks.
