Leveling Kit

Because the Tremor has more travel and sits higher than the f150, so basically it looks as if they've taken their product and repurposed it and added in the blocks to get a true level. Which disappoints me because I was hoping for Tremor specific coilover.
Yeah I think I'm about to ask them some uncomfortable questions and refuse delivery if I don't like the answers.

edit: done!

It is not unreasonable to think that a previous part would be used with slightly different results

I think yeti's wife would be pissed if I keep throwing money out there. :)
Yeah I could see that, I'm about to have to start living in the kennel with the dogs myself, I was told the other day that I needed to replace the back deck before I get anything else that's "needed" and she did that with finger quotes. My only response at that point was Yes Mam!

NEW Rough Country Tremor ('21-22) specific leveling kit just landed today (mine's now on order)... brings the front up 2.5" and drops the back 1.25" (blocks required per RC).

You're definitely correct. But they already got my impulsive money so I'm trying to play my very weak hand in a way that motivates them to shut me up.

My only concern is the possibility that someone saw an opportunity to be first to market and ran with the first strut that fit and hit the desired height.

We need someone to post the measurement from the Pro Comp 2.5". From the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender and compare it to the RC kit's measurements. They should be the same, that would be good. Then if it rides good we have another option.

If the coilover is the same length as the stock strut, you'll be able to preload the coilover to its max length, have a very harsh ride and have the same droop as stock. Meaning that puppy is almost at full droop at ride height.

If they are longer, you can tweak the height and ride comfort to your liking.

The Eibachs were about 3/8" longer and gave about a 1/2" lift with a similar or improved ride and slightly longer droop than stock.

I think what we're looking for is an overall length just over 1" longer coilover with the shock body being at least 1" longer.

You need to “enter a contest” and win it especially if you’ve never won. First thing I ever won in my life was my $2000 Onewheel. My buddy backs that story up and she’s had some doubts but leaves it at that. I’m about to enter an “aftermarket wheel contest” and need to figure the angle of how I’m so good at winning these contests or come up with a convincing trade story. Good play with the yes mam, lol!

Unintentional market research: Looks like I paid $60 for the lowering blocks I won't be using. On the plus side we already have reviews to go off of.

was wondering when someone was going to start looking at part numbers. i noticed this the other day ordered the kit anyhow. dont know if ill use the blocks or not. my kit is coming today

mind measuring them before the install?
also make sure you loosen the UCA and LCA then tighten them with the truck at ride height.
Sure I can measure them now but probably not going to get them installed till weekend

From top plate to bottom of strut is 25 inches

my stock was just short of that and 23" from the top of the hat to the bottom of the mounting plates (at the bolt hole) So we're starting with more length. that's a good sign.
