Leveling Kit

You would want new UCA's, not a strut mount.

Most custom coilover setups the springs are wrapped tighter to the shock body for this reason. Factory springs are a lot bigger and loosely wrapped. I don't know if you will get this luxury on a budget coilover like the RC. Adding a longer overall strut length also causes the clearance issues. Most high end kits come with UCA's to help with clearance and alignment. If the RC Coilovers do hit you can get a quality UCA from ICON, SPC and even RC has them.

Great info! Thanks. This is obviously my first time playing with truck suspension.

Having the RC Tremor leveling kit installed on Saturday. Will update with pictures.
BWD85, please send pics after! Good luck, mine goes on Tues next week. You doing the rear blocks to drop inch or only lift the front?

Picked up my tires/wheels today from Discount Tire. Sitting in garage but had to get some pics next to truck to compare. Last pic is next to 35” Nitto RG on my Bronco. They look taller, but that’s b/c there is no weight on them, so I’m sure they are much closer in actual height

Tires 35x12.50 Yoko Geolander MT
Wheels 20x9 +19 Fuel Sledge (all black)

(PS Pics of tires next to truck are not installed, a couple angles look like I’m rocking some -144 offset wheels 😀)

We’ll done, looks awesome. I might reconsider my Pro Comp sport T/A tires 35/12.50 I am supposed to have installed next week with the Pro-comp 2.5 level kit.

Now I understand lol, those are just sitting there, that’s what not installed means lol. I thought it looked to wide.

I have run Nittos, BFG, Toyos, and Duratracs on other trucks but always an AT or Hybrid. This will be first MT tire for me but all the reviews and research I found are that this is one of the best for lower road noise and long tread wear. Plus one of the guys at Discount Tire running this tire and he swears by it, so figured give it a try. For $375/tire was actually one of the best priced!

Haha, yeah these pics here of the new tires sitting next to truck eclipses the factory tire behind it so looks kinda crazy :) hope they clear with the 2.5 lift yet to be installed, but I think they will.

Lol, with that much poke, you wont have to worry about rubbing the fenders... the doors on the other hand are toast.

Auto Spring 2.5" offset leveling spacers showed up today. They are offset, but I can't get a good picture to show it. They look like a guy from Idaho built them. They measure 1-5/8" (1.625") tall. The instructions say it will rotate your strut 180 degrees. So you would not be able to use it with a stock height performance coilover with resi's.

Fozzy, good luck with the install and look forward to seeing some “after” pics later…

More than likely I will not be installing this kit. I am trying to figure out if I can install the 4" Fox DSC Coilovers from BDS and set the ride hight down. If not I will probable go with the Elka 3" coilover or bite the bullet and do the 4" BDS kit.

Fozzy, did you find an Elka coilover for a 2022 Tremor? I heard they are great but didn’t think they had one compatible with our trucks. If they do, I would def consider them over the RC even though much more expensive for the quality. Please keep us posted if you find one that works. Thanks

The Tremor RC kit is just the regular F-150 3" strut. When people start getting them installed and can give accurate lift hight measurements we can see how it compares to the spacer ride height. ICON only does a 2.75" and claim it only give the Tremor 1.25" over stock. So it will be interesting to see if the RC kit lifts the truck 2.5". If so the 3" Elka's should do the same.

I sent a message 4 weeks ago to Elka to inquire about them but they did not respond. If you find out anything from them please post it.

Ah, I hear what you are saying
I’m getting the RC kit installed Tues so I’m make sure to get plenty of before/after pics and measurements to share with everyone.

See if you can get the factory strut length from mounting surface to mounting surface. And of course measure form center of wheel to fender before and after is the most accurate of actually lift hight gain.

Turned out exactly how I wanted. The ride is also better. Installed the rear blocks also.
BWD85, looks awesome!! Good to hear you are happy with the ride quality with the RC coilovers

Did you measure before and after to see how much lift actually accomplished for front?

It’s def looks dead level with the rear block drop, but I think I’m gonna do just the front first and decide later on the rear as I prefer a little rake

Great looking ride!!
