Leveling Kit

The Tremor has more travel, a slightly wider track, and a different knuckle supposedly.
I reached out to Ford Performance. They said these shocks are not designed for a 2021+ truck (we pretty much already knew that). He also said they are working on releasing a kit for the 2021+ trucks, but have no ETA (we knew that too). Sure, places like Blackstock Ford in the video are going to make it work because they are trying to fill a customer need. But the bottom line is that they are not designed for our trucks. There has been a ton of great discussion on this forum about leveling kits and I've learned a lot from everyone - I appreciate that. I think I'm going to be patient and wait for something designed to fit a '22 Tremor. Heck, I don't even have my truck yet - it's in production purgatory. I want a coil and I'm not sold on the RC kit.

I just saw that. It said unique knuckle, Control arm and more travel.

I’m calling Ford Performance tomorrow

I called Ford Performance this morning and got the same information. I will be reaching back out to the dealer that installed the Fox kit on my truck and make sure they put the warranty information in writing. Thanks for all the good feedback.

Spoke with Fox yesterday and was told they are coming out with something Tremor specific... I'll take it with a grain of salt until I hear more. The RC level is at a decent price point. I would like to upgrade all 4 and will most likely wait and see what comes out in the next few months.

Do we know how thick the factory blocks are ? I just got my rough country kit and the blocks are missing guess they forgot to ship. The guy said they are to bring the back up I was under the understand that ppl arnt running them.to lower the rear down ?? They are just 14 to 19 kit on the front

For the folks here with the rough country n3 strut leveling kit, are you guy’s happy with the ride with this kit? Is it equal or better ride then factory? Debating to just doing this rc kit for now to throw 35’s on.. I know fox is coming out with their coilovers in the next month or so but who knows if it’ll be tremor specific and I’m not patient..

Better, surprisingly. Truck feels more planted and confident in turns but still soaks up shitty South Carolina roads like a pro.

Only frustrating part is it really shines a spotlight on how awful the rear shocks are. Get some dramamine for your dogs if you're going to let them ride in the bed.

ive seen it posted elsewhere, factory blocks are 2.5". Regular F150 4x4 blocks are 1.25" which is what im planning to run.

The rear block kit that should have come with your RC coilover kit is a 1” rear lowering kit, which should make your truck dead level.

Myself and many of the others who installed this kit opted to not install the lowering rear blocks as I prefer the slight 1 1/4” rake. Pics attached so you can decide if worth installing the rear blocks.

Thanks and good luck on your build!

Says 100% bolt on.
Hmm…maybe RC just came out with this new “Tremor” specific 4” lift? I installed the 2.5” kit already but would have opted for this if available a few weeks ago.

Interesting that it requires a 20’+ wheel, so the white Tremor they show in the pic doesn’t even have this kit installed as it is shown with the factory 18s? Pretty sure same pic of truck from their 2.5” leveling coilover kit.

My wheels are 20x9 +19 offset and they recommend a 20x9 +6….so def not buying new wheels again as I consider doing this lift. Wonder if they would work or if a more negative offset needed to clear the lift components?

Who’s gonna be the guiena pig?! 😀

Maybe someone more knowledgeable than myself can weigh in but wouldn't a knuckle+spacer lift be inferior to just adding the knuckle lift to their existing coilover lift? And if so maybe you can buy just the knuckle as an add on.

With a diff drop kit everything needs to be moved the same. 4" kit will drop the diff 4", 4" puck or 4" longer coilovers. 4" taller knuckles. The BDS spacer kit says it will not work with the Tremor. Because the strut is longer and it will be a 5" or 5.5" lift on the front and the geometry will not be BDS perfect. But if you install their coilovers it will be the same height as a stock F-150 lifted because you take the Tremor strut out of the equation. So did RC drop the diff 4" and put a 3" puck in to take advantage of the stock strut? Be a quick and easy fix to just change the puck size. I did notice there was not a Vertex upgrade available. Probably because you need the custom length coilover.

This is the kind of knowledge that keeps me coming back

Are your wheels 18", and are the tires 35" (295)?

They are 35x12.50r20 20x9 +19 offset

Here are some good side by side next to stock 18s so you can see how they compare
