Leveling Kit

It seems most of us are looking for a 2" lift in front with full or better articulation.
I get why suspension manufacturers make adjustable bu when you increase/decrease height, you change the position of your ride height to the mid point of the shock.
I've been too smoked at work to call RC about their vertex but I'm guessing their 3" lift (2.5" for tremors) would need to be detuned to about 1.75" to be at the mid point at ride height.

I'll try to find time to take my truck out to them and put this in the "done" category.
Keep us posted if you do this because I'm very curious on this setup. Also are you going to try the rear shocks as well, if not can you ask about that if you do get out there to see them.

I haven’t seen anyone post information about the Ford Fox 2.0. I just purchase the Tremor and the dealership put on the Fox. Truck rides better and it lifted the front at least 2”. See pictu
Do you know if they had any issues with the setup and if they had to change anything to make them work?

I believe it was a pretty simple process. The dealership installed them in a couple hours. I verified the installation did not void the warranty. That’s why I was surprised I haven’t seen more about the Fox 2.0 Ford performance on this forum. I will add pick of the shocks

Can you link the parts you ordered

Can you provide a side view pic on level ground? I’d love to see the stance.

I ordered it directly through the dealership. I will see if they will send me the exact parts and I will post it.
Did you get to drive it stock before ?
I did pro comp but kind of wish I had just done the fox.

I’m guessing it was either this kit :
Or this one:

I'm hopeful for this. I'm way more interested in a well-performing, nice-riding suspension than I am in maxing out a lift height number. If we could detune (assuming you mean back off the preload?) the RC kit to optimize travel, get 1.75-2" of lift, and have a good-as or better-than factory ride, I'm all over it. Anxiously watching....

It has Ford performance on the shocks. I did test drive before and it feels better to me. I really liked the ride before the fox shock, but with the fox I feel a little less body roll and the rear really absorbs the bumps.

Based on the lettering on the rear shocks this looks to be the Ford Performance part, which states it fits through model year 2020. If you look at the kit on the Roush site and enter in the model info, it shows that it fits a 2021 F150 Tremor but not a 2022. I wonder why??? Maybe they just haven't updated their info or tested it on the 2022. There is also a note about the 2021 model that states "2021 Trucks will require the lower spring perch to be adjusted 5/8” of an inch down on the strut shaft (towards the lower control arm) for proper suspension travel and improved ride." I'm really intrigued by this kit.

So reducing the collar 5/8" will reduce the ride height about 1.25" similar (but better) to what I found with the Eibachs. For many people, somewhere in between would work well for them. I mean, other than people who hit moderate and above off road and people who live in Pittsburgh, most others don't give a poop about the droop

I live in Idaho and I know several Ford dealerships are using the Fox on the new Tremors. I definitely have 2’’ of lift in the front. I hope the dealer is installing them properly. They do a lot of lifts and after market products and feel they know what they are doing. I was also interested if anyone else in this forum has installed them at a Ford dealership

Shoot us the name of the kit and item# when you get it so we can email fox and ask.

What are you not liking about the Pro Comp?

Yep. And the funny thing for me is it's not because my little pavement princess will see much action beyond my gravel driveway and the odd accidentally jumped curb. It just seems philosophically wrong to hamstring an offroad-oriented truck's offroading capabilities for vanity's sake.

Also I would appreciate it if you all would stop finding likely setups that render the RC kit inferior and obsolete at least until I get to enjoy it a little bit. My wife is already pissed and I haven't even bought my 35s yet.

You thinking what I'm thinking? Leave the preload where it is and get the "Tremor" height. His measurement and pics look pretty close to everyone else.

Wow, 2.0's are so cheap. The Roush is supposed be more street friendly as well.

Ha! I dunno but if someone doesn't make something in the next 3 months, I may have a set of 3/4" spacers made and go with the fox

Yikes! That FOX system looks great, to bad I had the RC installed a couple weeks ago. It’s weird that my dealership (which does Roush trucks too) didn’t recommend this kit.

RWilson, do you mind me asking how much they charged all in for parts/labor?

Wonder if worth upgrading from the RC? Let’s all be honest, the factory rear shocks are NOT the best. Was considering replacing those anyways with the RC Vertex rear kit, but those are $850 vs this whole FOX kit for $1400, which I suspect is a better front coilover vs the RC.

Thanks in advance!
