Leveling Kit

Spoke to rough country engineering today and they said the vertex coilover( 3” lift) should work in the tremors, they just haven’t tested it yet to confirm.with their 30 day satisfaction ride guarantee I’m Thinking about ordering those instead of the n3 strut kit along with the 0-3.5” rear reservoir shocks.. any thoughts?
Do it and let us know!

A buddy of mine used to be the Asst Service Manager there. He told me most of techs were pretty good, glad to see they got you fixed.

New member here, having the new Rough Country leveling kit installed today.

will post some pics when done for everyone...until then some shots of what it looks like now.

I have brought that up pages ago. Go for it and let us know. See if you can get it level with the preload and still ride nice and play nice with the CV’s.

Wow stance looks really good. Was the rear lowering blocks installed as well?
No, I opted to leave some extra lift for towing (IMHO its a barely noticeable rake).

Nice! did you change out the rear blocks too? It looks level to me.
I did not swap blocks, no. The parking lot has a bit of a slope to it. I'm thinking that is why it appears level.

I'll stick a tape measure to it tomorrow and find out.

It almost appears nose high, but if the ground has some slope that would explain it. I may be partial... But Stone gray is the best color :ROFLMAO:

Hoping I can measure in morning & my assumption be correct.

I do like the color. Looks sharp clean or dirty.

Just had the RC kit installed today. Decided to take the rear block out since I don’t tow often. Stance looks awesome!

RC kit also with factory rear (didn’t install RC lowering blocks) just to reference.

Side by side pics of factory Tremor to see comparison. Hope this helps

Good luck with install and post “after” pics :)

Mine has been RC lifted for about 3 weeks now. Rides slightly rougher than stock but I'm sure its due to the e-rated tires. Still rides better than a stock fx4 f150. Didnt do rear blocks but feel it has perfect amount of rake. Maybe 1-1.5in. I constantly have stuff in the bed and tow a bit so should level out nice under load. Picture with 5 stock rims, tires and coils in bed. Pretty much level

I haven’t seen anyone post information about the Ford Fox 2.0. I just purchase the Tremor and the dealership put on the Fox. Truck rides better and it lifted the front at least 2”. See pictures

It seems most of us are looking for a 2" lift in front with full or better articulation.
I get why suspension manufacturers make adjustable bu when you increase/decrease height, you change the position of your ride height to the mid point of the shock.
I've been too smoked at work to call RC about their vertex but I'm guessing their 3" lift (2.5" for tremors) would need to be detuned to about 1.75" to be at the mid point at ride height.

I'll try to find time to take my truck out to them and put this in the "done" category.
