Leveling Kit

On the RC front coilovers, can the preload / ride height adjustment be changed once installed on the vehicle (jacked up, wheel off, no load, etc) or do the coilovers need to be off and on the bench?
If I remember correctly, there is no adjustment on the RC struts. They are static so you could change the spring to adjust your height but in this case, I'm not sure it would give the desired result.

Just had the BFG KO2 35x12.50R18's installed this morning on the stock rims. The 35's seem to no have trouble with rub thus far, will provide update if something is discovered.

I’m wondering the same thing. Can’t stand the rake anymore. Can’t decide between the RC 2.5”, Auto Spring 2.5”, or the ProComp 2.5”. Just looking for a temporary option until a tremor specific coil over is released.
I couldn't stand it either went with procomp until some coilovers come out.

The rc says it's tremor specific. But the front coil over are the same and the 14 to 19 f150 kit. I have the kit works great but the front coilovers are jist the same ones as the 14 to 19
That’s another one of the reasons I didn’t go with their kit, they repurposed parts and said we’re specific ti the Tremor.
$270 more than auto spring
Stiffer ride than stock

Because it is a spacer vs a new shock and coil.

Suspension feel is subjective. Some people think the stock suspension is too soft, and therefore like a new setup with a stiffer coil (RC in this case) and some prefer the feel of the stock suspension, and therefore a spacer is better in their opinion. Its just like the debate on spacers vs Bilsteins on the regular F150s. Many people swear by the Bilsteins, and some put them on and take them right back off becuase they ride different.

Personally, I like the feel of the stock suspension (I wont be taking my truck off road much), so I plan to do a spacer, plus I am just not a fan of RC overall, but that all relates to my experiences with them in the Jeep world. I am sure they have made improvements since I swore them off as a cheap (price and quality) brand.

And as stated above, tires will make a big difference in how stiff the ride feels. It is hard to find a good tire above 34" in size that is not a 10 ply E tire, and those will always ride stiffer than a LT tire.

One thing we can all agree on though is that the amount of rake from the factory is ridiculous and needs to be addressed in some manner.
Well stated 👍

Thanks for the explanation.

I prefer something stiffer, so I think i will opt for the coils. I feel like it's going to take forever for a full coilover set to come out for the Tremor, and im getting itchy about getting the wheels and tires so I might just bite the bullet and get the RC kit.

You need to post some pics of the Bronco and Tremor in the wild together. Nice combo, do you have a matching GT500 to complete the set?
Def gave me an idea for TOTM with Bronco cameo :)

Not a car guy at all, but that would be a nice hat trick with the GT500!

Decided on the Auto Spring 2.5 after reading through this thread. Seems like the best and cheapest option until something proper comes out for the Tremor. Ordered it last night, hopefully I’ll have it installed one day next week.

Good choice (y)

Man I like that option too, and it's designed not to hit anything at articulation. Very cheap as well as easy install so I can save for some nice coils and still get my methods with 34s on.

so those of you who have installed the Autospring Kit on a 402A (or any other leveling kit for that matter), did you have to re-calibrate any electronics such as front sensors / camera, etc? I know the headlights apparently adjust to the leveling kit on their own, but what about other sensors, etc?

I personally did not. Everything still works as it should. Seems to be one of the better options out for our beloved tremors at the moment.

Just installed the Falcon tow haul level kit and some raptor takeoffs.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts of these after some time with them.
I want to level or lift but I really can't afford to sacrifice much towing capability as that is half of my use for the truck.

I was just trying to find if Falcon sells their rears separately. In the install, does it mention the max lift the shocks are designed for in the rear?
