Leveling Kit

I’m scheduled in a couple weeks to head into eibach for the R&D on the tremor’s. Driving 3.5 hours there from vegas to Corona CA
If I remember correctly, I told them to increase the shock body, shaft and spring position 3/4". Looking forward to what you get.

I am excited to see what they come out with. I have Eibachs on my '17 and really like them.

Nice, thanks for stepping up, might finally get something working.

Just picked up my truck but wasn’t able to talk to the mechanic or take measurements yet. I will and update. Took a few quick pics. Guy at the shop said bolted right up. Fitment was good. No issues. Alignment checked out. Just Toe a little off. ICON stage 3 installed.

Man I really dig the billet uca straight beefcake! Appreciate you taking the leap and providing the feedback sir.

Took the measurements but it was already dark outside by the time I got home. Used a flashlight to see so didn't take any updated pics. Sorry. I will try to add later. I don't think mechanic changed the setting from ICON. I believe they are preset from factory like that. I will double check with him but I measured 1.5" space on the threads. It was the same after install so I am pretty sure he did not move those collars. Stock front shocks were 22-3/4" from the top of the collar to middle of the bolt on the bottom. ICON coilovers were 23-1/2" from same areas measured. Hopefully I measured those correctly so ICONs are a little longer. Not sure if that means anything.

Stock height I got before adding the ICON stage 3.
Front - 38-5/8" from ground to right under the fender.
Rear - 42-3/8"
3-3/4 rake.

From middle hub to fender.
Front - 23"
Rear - 26-3/4"
3-3/4 rake.

After adding ICON stage 3 w/ Billet UCA and arriving home.
Front - 40-7/8"
Rear - 42-3/8" (same)
Front + 2-1/4"

From middle hub to fender ICON.
Front - 25-1/4"
Rear - 26-3/4" (same)
Front + 2-1/4"

I am not sure how much it will settle. I will probably check again sometime down the line. ICON does state for the Tremor with this kit, expect +1.25 in the front but I am getting + 2-1/4. About a inch more than advertised but again these did not settle yet. That being said anybody can chime in and add anything that I may I have missed or corrections. Hoping this information can help.

I am happy with what I got so far in terms of performance and leveling. I have some Rims and Tires on the way. 295/70/18 with +6 offset so I am sure they will fit. Hopefully it doesn't settle that much more. This and maybe little less would be perfect for me. I do prefer this ride even on the road. It is a little stiffer and you do feel a lot more things compared to stock.
I took some updated photos in case guys wanted more info. Looks like front settled about 1/16” after 1 day 😆. First 4 pics are before adding the ICON.

Everyone's trucks look great with their Level Kit. I just ordered the PRO COMP 2.5". Local shop in WNY is installing kit, alignment, labor for $785($700+NYS Tax). I believe that's a pretty good deal. My question is........is there anyone that has had any MAJOR issues with their level kit. I know the deal w/ the Dealership...anything goes wrong with the truck, they are going undoubtedly blame it on the Kit....

Thanks Gents!

I added a pro comp 2.5" level to mine last week, see attached photo. Everything as far as sensors, ride, etc. seem to be the same as factory. So far so good! I want to add some 34" tires similiar to what another member posted on his silver tremor. Still doing some research on exact size i want to go with as i'd like to keep the factory wheels. I think they look nice for once!
Looks great, any issues since install?

It's really personal preference. I have used those type of leveling kits in the past, but now only install suspension lifts without the use of blocks or spacers. If you are building a mall crawler or only do light 4WD stuff, you will likely be fine with it.
I had to google "Mall Crawler" & it's exactly what I'm looking for. A Pavement Princess to be honest....and I'm looking at the 2.5" Pro Comp....

Here you go, one day of driving it and its so awesome the difference with the level. The guy at the dealership said “oh wow, now that looks sick”.
Looks so much better!

A guy on the FB group finally installed the Vertex 3" kit. Claims 2" of additional lift with plenty of preload threads left. Says it rides good. The CV angles look steep to me, but it could be the angle of the photo. I hope he is on here to share more about it.

I don't even like the angle of my 3/8" lift. That said, i would spitball that at about 15- 20 degrees. I wonder what full droop looks like.

Its actually not as bad as I was expecting, but if he got 2" of lift rather than 3" than that makes sense. Personally this is as much of an angle as I would be comfortable with, which is part of why I have been following these threads so much. Trying to decide if I feel comfortable with doing the AS 2.5" when/if my truck ever gets built, or if I need to just go with a 2".

He also mention he was getting RCV axles and CV's. They are super strong and have a high deflection angle. Not a bad plan at all. But a set will be $2500 plus. Pretty expensive solution. But he did avoid a diff drop. It also look pretty level in the pic even though his driveway is on a slope. I am torn between this and the 4" RC diff drop. I don't want a huge truck, I don't want problems , I don't want to cut the frame and I don't really want a diff drop. Ugg.

If I had the funds I would do RCVs for this application, but I havent been able to get my self to do it on my Jeep with a D60 up front. I didnt even realize RCV made F150 axles, but the price seems in line with their other axle shafts.
