Leveling Kit

Probably a dumb question…but I’m killing time until my truck is built and there are also more suspension systems on the market:
Do people do BODY lifts on these trucks any more? A minimal 1” body lift would improve tire clearance without affecting suspension geometry. And while a body lift itself doesn’t help ground clearance, running the bigger tires it allows you would.
I dunno…I have a 1” body lift (in addition to 3.5” of suspension) on my early bronco. Made modification and fitment of other things a lot easier.

I havent seen body lifts in years. Spacers on top of the struts are so much more effective, easier, cheaper, etc. that I doubt there are even body lifts made for the modern F150

I had the AS 2” level installed yesterday, definitely makes the truck look nicer but now my steering wheel isn’t centered. I am scheduled to get it aligned tomorrow (5/5) and hope they fix it. Is it normal for there to be some steering wheel misalignment after a level?

Yes, and a good alignment shop will get it recentered

I got the alignment taken care of, although my steering wheel isn’t perfectly centered like it was, that’s more of a pet peeve than anything. Can someone tell me I’m crazy when I say I swear I feel a little more jostle or bumpy (no clue how to word it) than I did before the level? I’ve never leveled a truck before, so I have no idea if it’s in my head or if it does actually feel a little different.

Prob does feel a bit different

After my level I feel that the suspension is just a little firmer, truck tracks straighter now. I mainly feel it in the rear shocks, which has been a pleasant surprise as the rears SUCK! I have the AS 2.5”

Thanks all for the responses. Glad it’s not only me, I just definitely notice it’s different. Not bad, just different. Gonna take it in within the next week or so and have the dealer fix the light that isn’t working. I’ll try to get the steering wheel straight again then.

Do you have any before & after photos? I’m still trying to decide if I get the AS 2” or 2.5” when I get my truck

I had the AS 2.5” installed yesterday. WOW…..what a difference a few inches can make(that’s what she said….lol).

The Tremor now feels and looks beefier than my Gen 2 Raptor…..not sure if it’s the hood lines or what but I like it better (other than the shifter).

My installer did it for $380 with alignment included. Great price considering where I live….VA-Washington Metro area.

The funny thing was when I walked in with the parts, the shop said thank you for not bringing us Rough Country crap. Lol. I have no brand bias, I just went with the AS kit due to the offset design, they agreed it’s a good kit for the 21’-22’ F-150’s.

The top left photo was the day I picked it up. The others are after the 2” AS level. I like the 2” look, it leaves a small amount of rake which for me is how I think it should’ve come factory.

I’m really happy with it, it doesn’t look like anything’s been added and I’ve been complimented and asked if it’s leveled or factory several times. I’m sure you’ll be happy with either choice.

Looks great - could you post a couple pictures of your front CV angles? (Basically, if you don’t know, the axles that drive the front wheels with the little black accordion boots on the ends.)
People have been curious about the resulting angles of these from these lifts.
Thanks!

RC coilovers Installed (no rear drop block added) and I love how it turned out to! Dealer also had a factory Tremor on the lot, so had to take some good side by sides. Will take measurements at home to confirm added lift.

35x12.50 clear (barely) but can confirm zero cutting or trimming with a 20x9 +19 offset

Pics have the rear end down a little compared to stock Tremor with 400+/- lbs the bed so I’ll get some better pics and full review tomorrow after driving it around town all day.

Hope this helps any of y’all looking for options on your set up!
LOOKS AWESOME

I'm curious as well.

Perfect use of that’s what she said, Michael would be proud!
