Modular bumper install on 21-23 Tremor

Crank thanks so much for sharing all of this info. Looking to do the same swap myself.

Would you mind sharing a parts list needed for the swap? Is it just the modular bumper + the 24 skid plate

The modular bumper, either the Tremor OEM one, or a take off Raptor R bumper from eBay.
The wing part numbers are, RL3Z-17E785-BA and RL3Z-17E784-BA
The lower plastic extensions are, RL3Z-17626-BA and RL3Z-17626-BD
The 2024 skid plate does technically fit better, but the 2023 skid plate doesn’t look too bad honestly.

Word to note, make sure when you order a Raptor R bumper off eBay, make sure the bumper mounting brackets are included as the driver bracket is on National back order and no ETA on stock. The 2023 OEM bumper bracket does not work.

I will get part numbers for the OEM fog lights and shrouds early next week. Personally I am not going to use the OEM fogs, I am working with SPV about making replacement dual fog light brackets to fill the “void”. Something should be available by the end of the year.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Looks like several available on ebay but they dont seem to include the bumper mounting brackets.

This one has them installed. You can see the 3 silver bolts and the brackets in the pictures of the backside of the bumper

I did get the lower extensions added to the wings, and they do cover the crash bars. For those that might want to keep them installed. I went ahead and removed the front ones from mine as I am planning on running a pair of aftermarket LED pod lights in the cut outs vs the OEM single fog light. So I didn’t want the see the bar behind the lights. Yes I know, I’m going to die now LOL.

Here is a side by side comparison of a 2025 F150 Police Responder and my 2023 Tremor. It does appear the hoods are different along with the grill, bumper, headlights, etc.
The fenders are the same though.
We have not received a 2024/25 Tremor in yet to see if the hood lines would meet up with the grill, but I don’t think they will. So a front end swap would likely require a new hood.

Still waiting on the custom rubber filler piece to test fit between the bumper and lower grill extension. The foam I used is holding up pretty well for now, doesn’t hold water like I thought it might so that’s a plus.

If anyone needs more info, or wants any additional close up or specific pickers, let me know.

It seems the center portion of the new grill is raised whereas our leading hoodline edge is flat.

Yea it does look that way.
When I get the Responder in the shop and start tearing it down, I can compare it to my truck a little better

do the modular bumpers not support the sensors? I don't see any.

They do, on my bumper there are 2 holes at the bottom of the center section, then the sides are in the fog light pocket plastics. You can make out the lower ones just to right of the tow hook in this picture:

This pictures shows another one on the side of the bumper wing, and inside the fog light housing, but my wings do not have holes at the sides for sensors. If we ever get a Tremor in with this bumper I will look at it. I think we have an Avalanche Gray inbound any day.

Weird one...you didnt happen to weigh the bumpers did ya?

I did not. But the modular is WAY lighter, if I had to guess probably half the weight at the most. Possibly lighter.

I'm curious how you have your lights wired...Did you get the backlight going on the big bangers?

I have the big banger white on upfitter 1, with a relay. The amber backlight and amber 2 bangers are wired together on upfitter 2, no relay necessary.

There is an additional wire with the big bangers to dim the backlight down, which I did not use. So the pic shows the brightness intensity of the backlighting.

The modular bumper, either the Tremor OEM one, or a take off Raptor R bumper from eBay.
The wing part numbers are, RL3Z-17E785-BA and RL3Z-17E784-BA

Did you ever get the part numbers for the OEM fog lights? They contain the holes for the sensor right? Will the light from a Raptor R plug in to a Tremor? I assume no way to make the Stock Tremor ones work with the wings I am ordering above?

I noticed after I got my bumper that I did get the mounting brackets however, I am missing a bracket which helps to hold the wings on. I tried to search the part number on the one I have but I can't find anything. RL3V-17B760-A

I did not get a chance to get with my parts department this past week. I will try and go tomorrow and talk to them.

The raptor fog will not work, it is a dual light set up and the tremor is a single. The original fog light most likely will not fit either…at least not easily. The plastic fog surround should have the sensor hole, at least from the pictures I saw online. Our tremor has not arrived at the dealership yet to check it.

I feel like the wing mounted to tabs on the bumper center section and not a separate bracket. I will check mine when I get home this evening though.

This might help with some part numbers and locations.

Go to Parts.Ford.Com and use this VIN 1FTFW4L81RFA68304
It is for a 2024 Tremor with the modular bumper. You can search for the front bumper and find all the parts for the modular bumper, including pictures

It looks like I am missing 17C886B. Oddly enought when I type that part number in after viewing the parts page you linked above with the VIN it says it won't fit. Is it just me or is the FORD parts site not very good.

EDIT: actually it says the part is obsolete.

The Ford parts site sucks…..even at the dealer.
I had my parts guy look it up and it showed the same thing, so he sent it to the ford rep to get clarification.
It’s typical that the parts catalog is behind, especially when it’s a new model or new part.

As soon as he gets confirmation that it is correct and fits I will let you know.
Should be the next day or two

Thanks CrankCase.
Could I ask for a little more help. I got the parts you suggested above in. I definitely need 17C886B. Should be for the Drivers side.

Looks like I will need the Fog light housings also. I think they are 17C755 and 17C754. Weird, one is about $40 but the other $140, is that right?
My bumpers are painted now and I think I would need the black sensor retainers for the front bumper. I can't quite tell if they are all 4 the same or what. The ford site has several different ones they list. No idea which ones i would need.
Also need some of the clips and bolts holding on 17B984 as my takeoff I bought was missing some.

This is quite an undertaking and FordPart.com does not make it easier.

Appreciate all you help.
