New Audio System Update

It sounds like we'll definitely know when we receive the update but I just wanted to double check. My last update was a power improvement with the battery etc. I can't find any other history. Is there a way to check all past updates on the app?

Go to settings in the app—-then software updates—-update details

I have a 22 402A with the B&O Unleashed. Still no update for mine yet. Latest update was for battery and collision detection stuff.

On the app you can to vehicle, then settings, then software updates to set the schedule for the updates. On the menu in the truck you can find the last update and what was done. My 22 401A seems to have better sound for a few weeks now but I never saw an update saying it updated the sound. The base and surround sound is improved like someone else previously mentioned.

Prior to the Ford Pass app redesign I would get a notification message if there was a new OTA update. Something like this

Since the new app have not seen one new alert of a OTA (over the air ) updates, but looking at the radio under software update section I can see there was an update for "Refined Audio"

I can also tell Ford makes non announced updates when things like my rear passenger occupancy chime comes back or my tail bed lights stop working because that module got overwritten by OTA and removes my Forescan change to enable the bed puddle lights

Ford Pass app should be documenting any time they send us an OTA and I don’t think they are anymore since the new app re-design

I got my truck new in July and I can't tell if I've ever received an OTA update or not. Maybe I just haven't gotten one. I've dug around every part of the menu I can find but no evidence of anything ever happening.

I just got the Ford Power-Up 6.5.0 update but still haven’t received an Audio Update.
The B&O is a very disappointing sounding radio. I hope one day I will get the update.

I went over a year without any updates (Feb of 23 to march of 24) for no apparent reason. Then got about 9 over the course of 2 months. Nothing since....almost makes me want to get the mongoose cable and an FDRS license.....almost

It would be so nice if a Ford dealer would just do all vehicle systems updates whenever one goes in for any type of service or repairs especially when a vehicle is still under warranty.

I asked for an update the last time I was in for service, they checked the computer and said I was fully up to date, but that Ford would be pushing a new update soon. Wait and see. Yay.

Excluding the SYNC system, there are many other vehicle systems that can be updated and an update is available but, said update(s) aren’t really necessary or required and they can only be performed via Fords proprietary software at the dealership or if one buys a license.
These updates aren’t sent to the vehicle like SYNC updates.

I was excited yesterday seeing that my truck had scheduled an update for 1am today, but checking it this morning no update installed. When I press the update now button it tells me there are no updates available. What gives?

Phantom updates. I started getting them after a recent update. To check for sure, go check to see what update is available from the truck, if it shows one you've already had, it's not a real update.
