So does that mean the driver's side air vent has more than 10% output now?

For such a nice truck, the software is SHOCKINGLY bad. Computer developers figured out how to push software updates decades ago. I make sure my truck always connects to wifi when I get in the garage. If Ford can see it's got pending updates, why in hell will the truck not see and pull them? Really really stupid stuff.

Agreed....why only a push and not a pull option with the WiFi....cause I am gonna go out on a limb and say that I doubt the service dept has super high speed WiFi to run the updates. Also begs the question when the dealer has it and they say they need it to update are the pushing it "locally" at the dealer or is there some feature hiden away that always them to pull those updates? Anyhow now if forscan has anything for this? Just me wondering aloud here... - Rob

What's likely happening is this. Say update A comes out but fails to install on your truck, no wifi, low battery, whatever. Update B comes out that requires first update A being installed. So it doesn't load. Update C comes out, but it depends on B and A, so it doesn't load. Update D comes out and doesn't depend on anything, and it's small, so it does load. Now update A is so old that Ford stupidly quits pushing it out and you're stuck with Update D but missing A B C, forever..... Until going to the dealer that has updates A B C on a USB stick and can load it for you.

Ford stopped using USB sticks when SYNC 4 arrived.
Ahh the good old days starting with the late 2015 F150 and SYNC 3.

Ymmv, the ones in my area charge for it, some won't do it at all whether you pay them or not.

I have PremiumCare so they said it's warranty work.

There's a TSB for the issue (battery drain, crashes, etc) I posted earlier in the thread. If they won't do the work, I'd never give that dealer another dime.

I have PremiumCare so they said it's warranty work.

I called my dealer. They ran my VIN and said that there are no outstanding updates that I should have. They also said they can only look back 60 days.
