Tremor Rear Shock Options

So

Looks like a perfect for if I order the gfc
I honestly may go this route period while at times it may be a little stiff based on what he said I assume it to be kinda like the ones you previously had on your truck, I think you said they were stiffer than the current Bilstein that you are trying at least.

Ok I just found & ordered a pair of Bilstein 5160s, should be here Monday or Tuesday.
Now @FaKtor34 has me wondering if I should have bought 5165s arrrrgh

Good afternoon Tremor owners. I definitely want to upgrade the rear shocks with some Fox. As far that I have read here there are several, but want to stay with Fox. In all these threads I found two part numbers for the correct size. They are the BDS FOX 98224828 and FOX 98002034. Anyone know which is the correct one to install and do the upgrade?

I put a 3/4" spacer above stock bump stop and called it good, installed BDS/FOX 98224828 today.

Thank you Captain for the info. I"ll probably do the same. Where did you find the 3/4" spacer?

@Texican A lot less spring on rebound, starting with jumping in the truck bed test. Compression seems firm so body roll is more controlled onroad, offroad is still a little rough at slow speeds as unladen bed and firm-ish compression valving don't mix to provide supple, ground hugging sensation.

Hard to complain about the ride without any adjustment. I use Fox suspension on front/rear my mtb, but those both have high/low speed compression and high/low speed rebound adjustment.

Thanks for the update. I'm mainly concerned with everyday comfort. I am hoping that these are a nice stop gap until some tremor specific components are available.

Yeah, I think those Fox shocks are more linear which is what a lot of people like. Anything is better than the stock shocks but what part of better is the personal question.

Unladen pothole driving, I like the Eibachs the best but mild to moderate off road, the 5160s are a bit nicer with several hundred pounds in the bed.

Installed the Fox this afternoon and did a test ride down some neglected gravel and pothole roads. The Fox shocks made it a breeze. I was driving 60+ and hitting every hole and washboard I could find. Definitely a worthy investment. The truck felt better on the highway as well. Rear end feels planted.

Im being lazy, which fox?

Ok so vivid racing is contacting Bilstein as well to see what they are told about the 5165 universal fit that I posted about, as soon as they get back to me I will post what they say on here. So far that's the route I'm leaning towards pending what they get told.

@FaKtor34 If they're like filthy motorsports, they'll tell you that of course they work/fit with Tremor bc:
"The Tremor is no different than a standard F150 with some extra front end preload and UCAs. We’ve had a few customers provide us detailed measurements and the shocks are all the same and that 2” rear lift block is standard on all 4x4 F150s." 🤦😆
