What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Did not know! Had one on my 14 raptor. Didn’t seem to cause an issue. Lots of guys run them and beat on the trucks pretty good. Oh well, thanks for the input gents

The ford performance rear diff cover is a good option - reasonable cost, higher quality, looks better, and retains the oem curvature.

I hate scissor lifts.

Very true.
Get the Spicer version for considerably less than the Ford Performance version.
Yes, the Ford Performance version is just a re-badge Spicier diff cover which can be had for less than $150.00 dollars.

I sure wish Banks made one for the 9.75.

The diode dynamics summer sale comes to an end 7/8! You can use code cometcruiser on top of sales for free shipping!! Message me with any questions you might have!

Installed my 20" light bar / intercooler vent. Time consuming but like the finished product and look. Need to cut the black plastic molding for unobstructed light beam. The plastic mold trimming is best trimmed with hand held hack saw and a dremel. I drilled bolted the light bar brackets (facing inward) to the metal tab frame located on each side of the opening. Just enough space for the 20" light bar, just take your time and dont gorilla it. Easy wire up to upfitters, kept the a-pillar DRL (amber) lights and the 20" light bar DRL (amber) light on one switch. The reg lights are on separate switches. Overall ~ def worth the time for a good weekend project.

How much were they? Do they shake or tremble at high speeds/winds?
$64 on Amazon.

Haven't had them above 75 (I think) but here's 73. No tremble that I see. There may be the slightest bit of wind noise, but couldn't tell if it was the day, truck, or mirrors.

Interesting, thanks for the video! idk about y'all, but I hate the mirrors on the 23 tremors. They went for looks over functionality, I feel like I’m driving my gf’s car with tiny mirrors. On a side note, is it just me or does the turn radius suck on these trucks? My ‘17 Cummins might have turned better.

Finally put in the rear blocks this morning. I'll detail the process in the Tremor Builds section.

There’s a tow mirror option.
Speaking for myself, the regular mirrors work just fine for me with no issues at all and the turning radius is similar to my 2016 2WD Lariat which again, is fine with me.

Added the RAS setup tonight. Took way too long doing it but I think that was entirely on me being burned out this week.

Took it for a quick ride. Feels good. Looks wise .... I was already not so fond of the stock rake and this seems to be about 1.5" more now. Will remeasure tomorrow.

Celared the Transmission Adaptive Tables. Man! What a difference that makes. It now ups and downshifts without any jerking, can't even feel when it shifts. It's a smooth operator.

Also, I don't know if it's a placeboo effect, but I used to have a slight pedal vibration that seems to be gone. I'll have to drive it some more to be sure on that as it didn't happen all the time.
