🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Hope you got all your parts the first delivery. My passenger rail had the finish jacked up, emailed them, sent me two new rails (1 driver and 1 passenger). Then the new passenger was missing weather strip. Emailed again, sent just passenger rail, a Yeti tumbler, and $50 refund.

Got everything I needed. Install complete in about 90 minutes.

Celared the Transmission Adaptive Tables. Man! What a difference that makes. It now ups and downshifts without any jerking, can't even feel when it shifts. It's a smooth operator.

Also, I don't know if it's a placeboo effect, but I used to have a slight pedal vibration that seems to be gone. I'll have to drive it some more to be sure on that as it didn't happen all the time.
How did you do this?

First lake trip for the tremor!

Went out for supper the other night and the dreaded wrench and CEL appeared.
Scanned for codes and got a P2138 throttle position sensor error.
What did I do to my truck?
Took that POS pedal commander off and threw it in the trash.
I know I posted earlier that it worked great, and it did. For a while.

Did the upfitter harness some of our illustrious members whipped up and threw some ditch lights on. Was going to do rev lights but I have found I hate the location with a fiery passion so possible set for sale 😅

Should really give it a wash

Code go away after pedal commander?

Not exactly an exciting mod but if it saves me from having to get my wife's door repaired due to us both parking in the garage at the same time then it's well worth it. Weird shaped pool noodle I found at Dollar General. I cut it in half longways and it fits right over the step. Put the other side on the garage wall to keep my door safe. I just place it on the step when I get home. Easy.

i love it when a Karen slings her door open for her special move “oh no. I didn’t see you there” totally unintentional door ding and straight mangles her Kia seoul’s door

Yup. Cleared it and no problems since.
That was actually the second time it coded. I cleared them the first time but left the commander connected. Not this time.

Should have tried the Banks unit:

Weird….had mine over a year and still no problems with it.

Over the past 15 or so years I've been a forum member of more car/truck forums than I care to admit. I've never seen anything as divisive as throttle response controller discussions. Not even "which oil" threads.

It's always seems to come down to people who never used them think they're ridiculous ("just mash the peddle harder"), while people who have them love them. Except when someone has a problem with one. I've enjoyed having one (pedal commander) in a few vehicles but I didn't think one was necessary in the Tremor. Last two vehicles I had was a Wrangler and a 4runner. Can only go up from there in natural throttle response.

If I had a problem with one I'd probably stop using it too.

It's done through Forscan. Don't know how familiar you are with it, but heres a video that goes into detail. From installing Forscan to clearing the tables.

After clearing the tables you have to do the re-learn process.

Easy stuff, not complicated at all. Highly recommended. My truck feels better than when I bought it.

Thanks!!

Installed the Borla S-Type mid pipe. Pretty easy install once I dropped the spare tire. Instructions do not call for this but it was definitely easier once it was out of the way. She’s for sure more throaty. “Cold start” (68°) is definitely louder than factory. Idle is a little deeper but not loud. Highway cruising is more audible in the cab but no noticeable drone. It really comes to life when you get on it! Hoping the wife isn’t too annoyed 😬 First video is factory
