What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

I installed a pre-intake filter. Nothing special. Cosmetic but does a decent job of keeping dust and bugs out of the box, what’s it designed to do.

Looks great!

Added grille lights as an inexpensive excuse to wire up one of the Aux switches. Always been indifferent on them, we’ll see if I keep them! Now I’m confident to wire up some ditch lights next haha!

These trucks like positive offset, when lower offset is used rubbing shows up, generally the rear crash bars of the front wheel wells or the wheel well liner. I have 295/70r18 on 18x9 +6 wheels and I have polished the crash bars on the passenger side in reverse while turning. This is with a 2.5 inch front level mind you. I would think a higher lift will also minimize the rub imact. I anticipate you will have a lot of rubbing or cutting to do on a -19 ET wheel.
I'm hoping that I won't have that crashbar polishing action when I do bump up to the 295/70/18s, but if I do then I'll just live with it until they wear out and then go to the 285/70/18s.

Getting ready for the Raptor headlight swap so I disabled the DRLs in the foglight pocket. Still have all my other functionality (i.e. fogs turn on when I turn the wheel, the foglight switch still works, etc). I'm sure someone will probably think it's dumb, but when I put the Raptor headlights in with the amber DRLs I just don't want to see white DRLs down in the foglight pockets, and I wasn't paying $1300-$1500 for a set of DD Elite series fogs or the Morimoto 4-bangers. Maybe I'll decide later that I want to swap out the fogs, but that will likely be if I decide to the modular front bumper swap.

the DD elite fogs are only $500 when not on sale. but you should do the mod bumper swap and them go with a set of DD pods in the fog pockets. its the way to go.

DD pocket fog lights are the way to go, lots of customization with lenses and color options not to mention performance at all power levels. The kit they sell is neat, but if you do a modded bumper you can do something totally unique like @Cblaxx19 and me :)

Magnum Lo Pro headache rack

I like it and I think it will look even better with a level and some 35s

That is really nice and what I've been looking for! How was the install? Happen to have a part number? How long was the delivery?
I would go with the BAK.. It's the same thing.

Yep, I was getting the Stage Series mixed up with the Elite Series for pricing. Bottom line is, I just don't want DRLs in the bumper. I will eventually swap the bumper and go with something like your setup. Looks great!

Added the Fumoto Oil Drain Valve and some 5W-30 Signature Series to the truck. The dealer did the last oil change and it took every bit of human strength I had and added rubber inner tube with a filter wrench to keep it from slipping to get that stupid thing off. It was literally crushing in on itself and it still wouldn't bust loose. Hand tight guys... hand tight.. Had my youngest in the shop with me to start learning.

I used one can primer, two cans h8, one can gloss. Primer and gloss were HVT high temp
Where did you get your H8? A couple others that did this, their paint looked a little lighter in color.
