What's new

šŸ› ļø What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

how did you end up wiring them?
I actually haven’t yet. I did t want to splice into the brake harness. I was trying to get putco to sell me their plug n play harness since it has the same functions as the opt7 bar but they won’t well the harness stand-alone.

But opts 7 is releasing a plugnplay harness in February, so I’m patiently awaiting its release.

I guess I'm waiting until Feb too then. Debating doing their running board strips too...i4 idiots

I put in the vertex adjustable rears in September last year after realizing the factory shocks were too soft for my on road driving style. I was very impressed with the vertex shocks once I put them in. The adjustability gives me a lot of flexibility. Factory shocks were roughly equivalent to 3 out of 8 on the vertex shocks.

After a few months being happy with the vertex shocks I decided to get the matching struts and I have been equally happy with it. The factory struts are roughly equivalent to 4 out of 8 on the vertex struts. I currently run 3 up front and 4 in the back when I want softer on road experience and 4 front / 5 rear when I want handling to be a bit stiffer. Offroading I tend to ramp up the stiffness more.

Overall I'm happy with them!

Looks great! How much lift do you get out of the front? I have their rears also, and the RC front coils 2.5, but I would love the vertexes up front if i could get 2.5 out of them. Did you get the 3" ones?

I went with the 2" ones. A call to RC told me that would give me about a 1.5" front end lift on the Tremor. After install I was able to confirm a 1.5" lift. Since I was hoping to keep some rake this worked out well for me. I imagine with the 3" ones you'll get the 2.5" lift that you want. Couldn't hurt to call up RC to confirm.

Is this the wiring harness you're talking about?

No. That one is only compatible up to 2020.

But it’s the same concept.

has anyone put a backrack on their Tremor?

My new '22 Tremor.... this week did short antenna, window tinting, and new bed graphics!!

(*already ordered husky rear fender liners, black gorilla lug nuts, and 1-1/2" leveling pucks for next week.)

My truck came in this week and had a few things ready during the wait. Its been a long week but installed bakflip MX4 cover, Bushwacker oem style wheel flares, Raptor style grill, S&B CAI, tinted the front 2 windows, added Swingbox, 2 RAD rachet straps in the bed, lowered the rear by changing the rear blocks to the standard fx4 blocks, OEM rear wheel liners, Cravenspeed Stubby antenna and Weathertech floor liners and sent stock tune to Livernois for new tunes.

I did not like the factory rake, thinking about a level with larger tires in the future but it is more level until then. Loving the new truck, came from a 2022 Platinum with Powerboost and was not a fan. The 3.5 is so smooth in comparision.
I like the way the front came out. Any interest in doing the Raptor FORD tailgate applique, Id like to see about doing that.

Has anyone added a bumper type step access to climb into the bed easier?

The Power Boost will get you a little better gas mileage, but let's face it....if we wanted gas mileage we would not be driving a Tremor. The 3.5 is the way to go in my opinion!

Leveled the truck and it’s not even leveled what in tarnation

But I really did throw on the AS 2.5 yesterday/last night. Looks much better imo, also gave her a wash today since the weather cleared up for a few days.
