What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Hey, if anyone is interested in a new Tremor, the local dealership in Lubbock Texas has 2 on the lot. Hit me up for more details. Might be better than waiting.....

Has anyone added a bumper type step access to climb into the bed easier?
I added these; they also have some that go behind the back wheel

Makes access to bed much easier; and eventually my RSI cap will come in and it should help a lot with that as well

These are Made by amp research, but there are other brands. I had the shop install them when I got bedliner done, but it looks to be a simple install

are those power fold or like a manual spring loaded setup? i like those!

That's a pretty slick grill light. Which light is that if you don't mind me asking?
It’s just a led light strip that was cheap off of Amazon that I wired to a switch until I can get Cblaxx’s kit hopefully.

Manual spring/tension loaded; pull it down with your foot

These are the version 2; don’t have the pistons like the original ones that would get filled with grit

Time will tell, but these seem like they should last

Got a couple things done this past weekend:

Installed a UPR Catch Can, door sill protectors front and rear, then played with the hitch setup for my pop up.

I have a habit of just tossing the seat belt back and banging the plastic trim. Found some faux forged carbon fiber film to cover the panel. I couldn't find any products on the market for F150's to protect this area. I'll see how it holds up. Just went down about 8-9"

Nice, how much will that set me back per step?

Kind of surprised you didn't need a drop hitch for the pup. I guess your height is much higher bc its the SE version. I have a rockwood pup that needs like a 4" drop

Can someone help direct me to where I can find decals for the tailgate and the logos for my new 23 Tremor? I would like to match the orange that is used on the truck if possible. Thank you for your help.

I like the sill protector look, do they provide good grip?
Oh yeah, It’s like sand paper to be honest. In the reviews for it, some folks actually said it was too grippy/rough, but I like it. I actually wore through the paint on my old truck, so wanted to put something on this one. Especially since the steps somewhat force your foot placement up against it.

Got them from V1 Cut. sill plate scuff guard

I was anticipating needing one also. I tried mocking up a typical load by filling the water tank on the pup and filling my ice chests with water (about 440 lbs). The tremor squats a good amount; truck ended up perfectly level front to rear with the pup level. That’s with a half a tank of fuel and no one in the truck. The front end did come up a bit. Oh yeah, this SE has like a 30” hitch ball height.

Typically its me, wife, 2.5 kids, 150lbs of gear in the truck plus the pup deck full of stuff also. My goal was to see if I was going to need a different hitch setup before the summer.
