What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

that looks phenomenal! please share where you found the wrap at!
Just Amazon vivid I think it's about 4mil thick I was looking for something closer to ppf around 8mil but this does the job. The plastic is textured but it stuck fairly well I would say. I used light heat to help. Cut a square section off and applied it from the middle out. You can tuck excess is the weather seal. I bought the foot wide stuff.
VViViD® Black Forged Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap Roll with Air Release Technology (1 Foot by 5 Foot) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WRDMYCV?tag=f150tremor-20

There are gloss options, but I tried to keep it as subtle as possible with matte (has a slight texture to it). Looks better in person too.

You have the work surface?
Yep, this blocks that. I honestly don't use it as much as I thought I would because you can only use it in park.im going to mess with it later and see if i can put it on in a way that i can still open the work surface.

If only the stitching was a matching orange… haha. I’ve looked at that cover before. Just hadn’t pulled the trigger. It does look nice though.

That link has an option for a work surface compatible one. Doesn’t cover as much, but touted to work.

Picked up my traction bars and UCA's from the powder shop. I also had PPF put on the bars to help with road debris. Need some 32 degree and rising weather this weekend.

Was the 500 degree bake bad news for the ball joints and bushings? I assume.they had been dis/re assembled prior to and after the cook?

I had the bushings and ball joints pressed out before they were blasted and coated. Same with the bars, just left the rod ends black and silver. Just coated the rods.

In follow up to my last post in this thread, got my behind the grille light bar bracket installed. I still need the rest of the lights and to wire, but I’m super happy with how it turned out!

Removed the 2 lower shutters on each side but retained the mounts so I can put them back in if I ever remove the light bar.

Awesome, can’t wait for a finished product! What size stage series light bar do you think will fit?

The 30” would likely fit as that’s the width of that grille opening. My only question would be whether the mounts for the light bar are the same height as the pods and if it would sit at the right height.

Enabled glare free headlights via FORscan (finally), did the unreal theme now that I have fullscreen android auto and coolwalk, and rotated my tires. I will say this about the tremor wheels and tires, they are way lighter than the 33's on 20's my brother has on his Silverado.

I just noticed the full screen Android auto. At least my map on the left and music on the right looked larger and different. Is that the full screen? If I pressed audio it reverted back to normal, had to press a bunch of buttons to get it back.

If you have music from Android auto and Google maps from Android auto you have the full-screen update for Sync. If you have app selection on the left side, you have the coolwalk update. If you have coolwalk you should also be able be able to make Google maps full screen. If you post a picture I can tell you.
