What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Just finished getting the Tremor ready for RV season. Definitely the easiest car I've ever modified to get ready to tow. Just wish Ford would make it easy to put into neutral tow mode versus the convoluted way its done today.

I have done a lot of little things and few not so little things since my purchase. Line-x the bed, tinted the windows, Husky floor liners, removed the bedside stickers (designing some new ones) clay bar, PPF on the front/front lights/ mirror caps/front of roof, ceramic coat the whole truck, Ford wheel well liners, and got rid of all the stupid manufacturer stickers from EVERYWHERE!

Level and airbags for towing coming soon!

Finally got around to hooking up my Baja squadron sport behind the grill lights and the SPV Rigid SR-L series reverse light kit. I had the Baja installed but just had to wire them up. Connected the Baja's to Aux 2 and the SPV to Aux 1 upfitter. The SPV come on automatically when reversing and manually with the upfitter switch. They stay on with a red halo when driving lights are on at night. The SPV harnesses make the hook up easy. I am happy with the way they came out and the light output is what I expected. I added some photos.

It was a well-lighted street that is at a decline so not sure if these pics do it any justice, but it does make a big difference. I will also make some adjustments on the angles.

Is this the SKU for the reverse lights? SKU: 53122-REVSRL-KIT-6

Been looking for a slim profile reverse light kit and I think this might be the one..

I installed sound treatment from Sounds Good Stereo in all four doors. I was pleasantly surprised how much it improved the sound from the door speakers, now just waiting for the subwoofer
@apetty did you replace the doors speakers or keep the B&O? Also what subwoofer package did you order from Sounds Good.... looking forward to your input on the final sound product.... keep up posted

Here is the link below which is the same as your SKU you added. Just have to make sure you select the right harness options. Halogen vs. LED rear lights and if you want both harnesses. Reverse light and switch hook up which is what I got.

I also got these Auxiliary switch wire extensions. I just used these for the SPV reverse lights but not my Baja lights. I could have but the Baja wiring harness was a little different and did not want to alter just to use these extensions. They do make things easier to hook up where they extend those short Aux wires from Ford and you can just disconnect them when needed. You do need a weather pack crimp tool to connect the Rigid reverse lights to the connectors. I added the link to the one I used. The Rigid lights come with no connectors and just wires. SPV gives you everything you need except that tool. I added a YouTube link from SPV on this. I did speak to John @ SPV over the phone before ordering. He was very helpful. I think he was the one that built this kit.

I posted in another thread. This is a Baja Designs kit made for the Raptor. It fits on the F-150's too but comes down to grill design. I had to cut away part of my grill so the lights would not be blocked as for the Raptor, it shines through the mesh.

These look sweet. Do you have any photos of your setup with the cut in grill? Thanks

Probably one of the most helpful posts ever! Thanks for this!

More Light Installs ~ added the diode dynamics C3 sport pods and C1 mini's w/ amber backlights to the a-pillar, added the OPT 7 Aura pro interior (6) ambient lights, and added some amber sidebar lights which illuminate with key fob and when any door is open. All set for lights... for now.

T splices. I managed to get it to work for the tailgate bar using a curt harness and opt7’s pwm harness in tandem to not throw any trailer tow errors.
