Someone pulled up next to me yesterday and told me there was something scraping under my truck. Pulled over and the sway bar ends were detached from the end link assembly on both sides. Tiewrapped it back for the drive home.

It's been on for a year almost, and i haven't hit anything or taken any hard turns that would snap a bolt and nut off both sides. No marks on it, it almost seems like someone took the bolts off both sides maliciously.... I emailed Hellwig to ask if they have seen this before... And to send me new bolts.

The sway bar makes a difference in the drive, i like it on. Just mindfucked right now as to what happened.

Hey @Cranbery, did you ever put your Hellwig rear sway bar back on? Curious if you ever heard back from Hellwig.

I was noodling for things to do on my tremor and became curious about idea of having less body roll on turns. Also in case anyone have more information on this, I'm curious how much articulation is given up when a rear swaybar is installed? I know an exact answer is dependent on other parts and mods.

I didn't put it back on. I found out the 2021 version, which is double the price, is only slightly lower for the powerboost models. No other change, so the 2020 for half price fits up to 2023, just not powerboost. Looking back, I think it just got loose since I never checked it after a few hundred miles. Probably shouldve retightened it.

Since I'm putting the traction bars on and I got the differential brace, I'm just not going to put the rear sway bar back on. I'd rather have the full articulation and not worry about it.

I'll sell you mine for half of the cost of new + shipping, if you're interested.

I installed the morimoto third brake light. I wasn’t sold on these when I first saw them but dang does it look so much better than the oem light!

Did you buy the rapid flash module with it as well?? I think it looks good !

i did. it just adds a couple of flashes when you first hit the brake before it stays solid.

i wish the red lights were tied into the DRLs to where they were on normally at like a lower brightness and then flash and get brighter with the brake. but nothing in the oem third brakelight is tied to the DRLs so this isnt a fault of the new light.

now with the Raptor, i think it might have that capability since the raptor has running lights in the third brake light(i think)

I added it to mine; took maybe 30mins. Very easy install & looks great

Wish they offered a multi color option.

Finally got the windows tinted - Llumar IRX 25 on front doors, AIR 80 on rear doors/window. Nothing on the windshield or pano. yet. The IRX 25 is a slight shade lighter than the factory rears with the AIR 80, which works great for me. Best I could capture right now with the reflection.

Load Lifter 5000's installed yesterday. Onboard air system in the coming weeks.

Also got to play with some ForSCAN mods, pretty cool but I have not figured out the global windows yet....I'll get it.

Installed the Fox Snap Ring front struts. I also dropped the rear end an inch using the FX4 blocks and installed the Fox 2.0 shocks. It actually handles better than a 50’s Buick now!

Picked it up! Added the Revolver X4s tonneau, Husky wheel liners, bedrug, tuxmat floor mats, matte screen protector. Tint's going on tomorrow, and then the radar detector gets mounted up. Great truck!

Put these on - had someone on Etsy make them. The design and everything is awesome imo. The actual decal came a little messed up and it didn't go on perfect, I'm going to message the Etsy vendor and see if he'll send me another set.

I also finished my radar and banks digital gauge, forgot to take pics though! The gauge measured 610hp at peak on one of my pulls today, not sure how entirely accurate it is though, still messing around with it.
