With no sarcasm, what do you want to know? Deep tranny pans hold more fluid and cool more efficiently, that's about it. Same as aftermarket diff covers.

2 quarts more. B&M is a known name in the world of differential covers, tranny pans, etc. PE is another option, really just personal preference.

I was going to do the tranny service anyways because I've read online that it should be done at 30k on 10r80s (plus I've had the tune for 20k miles and decided to do the deeper pan while they were doing the service. You can do it yourself if you have the time, if you have a lift or jackstands it's about 4 or 5 hours, mostly because of access to the pan. Can reuse existing gasket if you're careful but why not just buy a new gasket and filter at that point in my opinion, that's what I had them do.

I live near a shop that does only Ford's (Ecoboost and coyotes), and they have seen the same issue on 5 other 10r80s getting tranny services at 30-40k and the fluid coming out filthy. I'm going to do the differential fluids next, I don't trust any of the factory fills from when this truck was built.
 
What shop? Maybe when I'm due I'll run down there for service/pan.

Put my tune back to stock to take my truck in for the transmission - getting delayed engagement and harsh shifts 1-2 for the first few shifts.

Apparently there's a TSB now, so before my truck goes out of warranty I'll start the process. At 33k miles.

Finally installed my bags/cradles. Damn box for my pro power in the bed has rusted to hell screws so I gotta redo lines later.

Just an FYI, there is a heat exchanger bypass available now that lets you run a regular trans cooler and a thermostat bypass that lets it run cooler. You do have to enter the transmission for the thermostat bypass. A few options if you’re having heating issues.

And no aftermarket diff cover improves cooling or efficiency over a stock cover but the Banks cover. Gale did a long video series with tons of research, it’s worth a watch. I installed the Ford Performance cover just because it kept the same internal shape and kept it at the factory fill levels. If Banks comes out with one for our trucks I’m on it.

i think ive seen that the right color temp is 5000K to match the DRLs. looks like the light you have is more like 6000K.
