If i remember correctly I used fuse number 21. That's the headlight module fuse. Do you think there's a better fuse to tap?

That’s the fuse I’ve read to use as well. Hadn’t gotten around to trying it out yet. Been wanting to find a better way to tap things in as a drl running light rather than using the drl circuit from behind the headlight cause it’s not a true 12v signal since it’s pwm controlled. This makes triggering relays with that circuit not doable without additional circuitry.

I’ll check out the fuse 21 and see if it’s on when I really want it on.

I will say this much: it is not on when your truck "welcomes" you, or when you unlock your truck. I did very little testing with a volt meter, but it was hot on ignition and on accesory power

Put on the peragon bed cover. I guess they have the kind that doesn't require drilling... But the one you have to drill for seems to be secured a little better

It's PLA. I bought one. Lasted me one fill up until I forgot to put it back on and left it on my bed as I drove away.

PlA seems like a bad choice. Did it just friction fit over the existing filler?

I'd keep an eye on it. Depending on actual plastic used it could degrade with fumes and/or residue post fill up. I've done gascan caps and such with PLA/PLA+/ABS and it's a little cranky (but that was more sustained direct contact vs this would be far less if any). I haven't done anything with the TPU/Nylons on the market though

Yeah it just slipped on. Honestly was a too many bourbons in this is just $5 buy.

I’ve be been eyeing an o board air setup for a while. The arb was just a bit too pricey for what I think my use case and frequency will be.

I stumbled across this rough country unit that appears to be identical to the arb, and at half the cost. I’m guessing it’s likely produced by the same vendor and just rebranded for rough country.

Where are you planning to mount it? I've been trying to decide whether I want to frame mount a compressor or keep it in the bed with builtright mounts.

my current plan is to mount it to my built right panels. they are pretty naked right now. but i'll see how it pans out as i start working on it.

Installed Corsa Sport Exhaust last night. It was one of those when I was halfway through, maybe I should have saved this for the weekend. Now I have to finish lol. I was on the fence about adding an exhaust. I do like the stock exhaust. Sounds decent and not loud. Truck is already plenty fast with the Livernois Tune. Shipping cost wasn't fun too. Guy at Corsa took some off to help with shipping so got sucked in. I know a lot of guys knock the EcoBoost 3.5 aftermarket exhaust systems but this one sounds good in my opinion. I am happy with it. I haven't driven it yet. Fit and Finish is top notch. Only thing was lining up the exhaust tips. Not hard but when your OCD kicks in, it can drive you nuts.

Has a good tone to it. I almost go the same kit, i was in the same boat price wise as you, on the fence. To me the borla type s sounded very similar and it was a little cheaper because it's mid section only and not a full cat-back.

Made some progress on the onboard air setup. I chose to run power from the battery to a breaker and sub panel in the bed rather than run the harness that came with the compressor up to the battery on its own. This way I have some available power in the future if I need it.

I got the compressor, the breaker, and the sub panel mounted to the built right panel. I also wired everything on the panel, so power line from breaker to sub panel and compressor to sub panel. I need to figure out where to mount the switch for the compressor. Probably will fab some bracket to mount the switch in next to the compressor.

I plan to run the main power and ground lines from the battery tomorrow so I’ll be able to test it out.

I also need a bigger quick fist mount to fit the hose. But it’ll do for now.
