🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

back in May of 2022, I took my truck to velossatech to have the grille scanned for them to make their big mouth air intake for the 2021+ trucks.

Yesterday, I finally took the truck in for test fitment.

This is their quad intake “lit” kit. They will be selling a dual intake kit as well.

The idea is that the air is forced up through the top of the grille and into the factory intake. They claim mpg improvements and throttle response improvement.

Supposedly on the maverick, they saw an increase of 2mpg.

I haven’t had it long enough to really gauge an impact. But it looks pretty cool.

Installed heated steering from a 23 Raptor. Wiring to power the heated wheel and for the paddle shifters to work was already in place. New steering wheel + SCCM + a couple of Forscan changes, done in about 25-30 minutes

Where'd you get the steering wheel from and how much? I really just want the paddles but can't find any aftermarket solutions.

I found the Raptor heated steering wheel on ebay. New OEM $750. (Good thing Ford gave us $140 for the HSW delete)

I threw away the factory sub and built an under seat sealed box for two 10" woofers. I went with a Kicker 800.1 amp and two Kicker 10" shallow mount subs, box is at 1.35 ft³ of airspace and it hits really hard when I want it to! So much better than that weak B&O sub (which sounded pretty good really, just wasn't enough for me).

The rest of the system really woke up too! I'm not sure why, maybe the factory amps power was redirected to the rest of the speakers when I took the sub out? I don't know, but the whole thing, highs, mids, headrests, all of it, is a lot louder and just sounds better now!

I painted the box black, but I think I'm going to carpet it instead, already showing some damage from the seat....

There’s nothing different about the top. The ducts redirect air up through the existing openings in the top of the grille.

Interesting Idea, kinda like the Cobb top piece lets more air in. Did you loose all the shutters with this mod?

The intakes required removing the top 4 shutters I think. The rest are gone cause of the light pods I mounted behind the lower portion of the grille. I think there is 1 shutter left. lol

I (finally!) got around to doing some Forscan mods.
Did the Bambi mod, double horn honk and got rid of that annoying black box on the reverse camera.

I’ve always loved the yellow fog + black truck combo. Found some vinyl I added to the fogs and loving the look. Also installed tonneau cover which is awesome, first time having one.

Level going on next weekend. Then come the 35s and new wheels

That is a really quality looking tonneau. Are the panels hard / not knife cuttable? Looks like a Ford official product since it has the logo.... Link please? (yes I know I could go googling....)

I think it’s the mx4 bakflip. From what I read the dealer sells it and throws Ford branding on it. Great cover and I scored this from someone on Marketplace. It is practically brand new

Got my Roof Top Tent finally, all aluminum, 4 season, diesel heater port, queen mattress. Can't wait to get it mounted and test it out.

these are the lights i used. they are mounted in an aluminum housing and completely epoxy'd over so should handle the water and dirt that is inevitable in this location.

all i did was mount one strip on the outside of the backer panel, facing the truck so that you dont see the strip.

What backing plates did you use?

Put my rims back on. Had to take them off due to stupid laws over here in Hawaii. We have Safety checks once a year. We also had Reconstruction approvals where if you modified your vehicle in any way, you have to pass Recon inspection. For Trucks, tires can't stick out so much past the fender, aftermarket shocks would be looked at etc. They finally did away with that but heard they now have the Safety check people kind of peak at these things. Didn't want to take chances so I always put my stocks rims back on even though my tires stick out just a little. +6 offset. I used these plastic covered sockets I picked up recently from Griots Garage. I think they have other brands out there that look like they are from the same manufacturer, just rebranded possibly. They protect the rims so you don't scratch them up with normal sockets. I am not too worried about the OEM rims but care about the ICON a little more . I also added a Cobb Intake. I had the drop in Cobb Air Filter but found that Cobb now makes this intake for the Tremor. This wasn't available when I added the drop in Filter. I am always impressed with their quality, fit and finish.

Hello everyone new here and my first Ford Truck.
Husky rear fender liners trimmed to clear shocks properly and Diode Dynamics license plate lights. Couldn’t handle the halogen license plate lights when all other lights on my 402A are LED. Washed and sealed the paint with SoCal Wax Shop Hybrid Ceramic Detail Spray. Going to do a level kit and shock change with new wheels and tires next.
