I'll report back in the suspension thread. It's gonna be 20 degrees tomorrow so I'm going to wait a few days. The 2.5 kit was nearly double the cost and my truck is a pavement princess as I have a Jeep on 37's for the trails.
 
Finally have got most of my mods complete.

-4” BDS Lift with 4” blocks in the back.

-Fox 2.5 Performance Elite shocks in the front and the back

-Full PPF wrap and Ceramic coating

-Bakflip MX4 folding bed cover

-KMC wheels with 33” Blizzaks on them for the winter
(I know it looks like it skipped leg day)

-Trigger industries custom Tremor mudflaps

I’ve got some fuel wheels and some 35” Toyo open country AT3’s for my summer tires on the way.

I always felt like there was something missing on the upper glove box door, so I added these tailgate badge replacement letters. With the texture and color of the letters it makes it look very OEM imo. It's the little things.

Yesterday I got a basic light bar mounted and some Morimoto lights put on.
the bar is from Randy Ellis Designs, and is meant for the 2015-2020 f150, and while it fits the tremor there are some differences in mounting. Plus on the 5.0 trucks, the bumper insert needs to be cut To fit the brackets. It takes about a 1.5” section removed from both sides.

I picked up the tent mounting brackets from Wheel Every Weekend that have proprietary nuts and rack specific mounting brackets so no one can steal my tent off my truck. I am running the Putco Venture Tec rack and was lucky enough to find a cross bar from Amazon for $30 when they are $230 from everyone else. Got the bar, it's new, has all hardware and the correct part number. Crazy Amazon sold it for $200 less than everyone else and it was the only one, haha.

I have the XTR1 at 15" and the front edge my RTT is a few inches higher than the cab. The Tuff Stuff tent isn't the slimmest of tents so looking back, I think the 13" rack height would have been perfect.

I love the RTT concept but I like to leave a campsite in the vehicle and return later without having to pack up the bulk of the site. Someone needs to come up with a quick disconnect system that had legs which extend for such a purpose. Park the truck, extend the legs, disconnect from the rack and back out. You wouldn’t sleep with the tent on stilts but you could leave and return.

Most slide in campers have exactly that, like Four Wheel Campers. The stilts are more used for storage rather than leaving them at camp for the day however a trailer would make that much easier.

Just hit 1000 miles, so this morning's cheap and fun project was to add a bit of back-road mud to the undercarriage and paint.
