What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Added Raptor tail lights. Got rid of the halogen tails. Liked these a little better since the upper light and center light do brake and turn in red vs the amber turn upper and the small single vertical strip for brake. I always thought that small strip was too little for brake illumination.

Which bumper is that? Looking forward to seeing the results.
Looks like its Addictive Desert Design ~ Premium look @ a premium price.... oh ya, lights, and other accessories NOT included but looks nice!

Stealth Fighter w/winch from ADD.

Kinda upset they spray painted the intercooler but other than that it all seems pretty nice.

Did you install yet?
No I won’t be able to until the lights come in unfortunately. Reached out to someone who has the same bumper and it seems you can’t install the lights while the bumper is mounted.

New wheels and Tires to go with a Halo 2.5 shock diameter lift!
Wheels: Method MR317 18x9 +18 offset
Tires: Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 305/70/18 (actual measurement: 35.3"x12.2")
Lift: Stock rear aside from 2.5 Halo shocks and airbags w/ daystar cradles, front coil-overs, shocks, UCA's and there is about 7/8"-1" of threads showing above the adjustment collar

Different strokes and all, but after a ton of research, I feel this is THE way to go for performance as far as tires, size, offset and lift. Coming from a diesel with Carli Pintop suspension and 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers (multiple sets) that was purpose built for my 30mi round trip on a very rough road, I think this setup on the Tremor handles the rough sh*t with extreme poise. Online pictures do not do the Baja Boss' justice, they are more aggressive looking in person than ridge grapplers, E rated, 3-peak snow rated, and mileage warranty. We'll see how they do this winter, but rockstar setup so far. No rubbing at all (not even plastic trimming) and not so much poke that the rocks hammer the truck, but enough for great looks.

Hope this helps someone who was on the fence about Mickey's (cannot attest to the snow performance yet), size, offset, and what lift to run, like I was.
Got the Methods and MTBB-A/T's ordered and on their way!. I just need the Halo kit to come in... Looking forward to installing them this spring.

Finally took the plunge and bought the Halo Lifts Tremor Package when it was on sale for black Friday, couldn't pass it up. Same as the mountain package but also includes the RCI back half engine and transmission skid plate. Just finished installing the skids today.

I installed my new fog lights today! I wish I could’ve found some more orange than yellow. I like those skid plates TremorKaos !
Thanks. I like your winch/light setup. I seriously looked into black Friday deals for that too, but had to choose one or the other.

What winch and lights did you end up going with?

It’s a Harbor Freight 12,000 lb winch, it has never failed me when I needed it, I’ve had it since 2015, I had it on a winch cradle and used it on my Expedition EL, I had it where I could use it on front or back of the Expedition and on a previous F150 and used front or back on it, the lights where from Amazon .

What winch mount did you use? Did it require relocating/an aftermarket intercooler???

Started disassembly today, it’s a pretty involved install, so far the worst part was cutting the bumper loom to pull out the ACC wiring and separate it.

The instructions are for a raptor so it’s not all the same, mostly the same but not everything.

Got the Raptor Heated Steering Wheel Retro-Fit completed today. Big thanks to @apetty for the guidance in getting this install complete. Install included the raptor heated wheel w/orange stitching, updated HVAC module with the heated wheel hard button & digital readouts, new SCCM and forscan changes. Have to say was def worth it.

Nice. Working paddle shifters too? I miss the Raptor steering wheel more than I thought I would.

I used a universal winch mount from Harbor Freight, I had to notch it to fit on the ends, nothing needed relocating, with the 5.0 , there’s a large empty space above the skid plate to install a winch, or whatever you need a place to install anything else.
