🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

I used a universal winch mount from Harbor Freight, I had to notch it to fit on the ends, nothing needed relocating, with the 5.0 , there’s a large empty space above the skid plate to install a winch, or whatever you need a place to install anything else.

Oh that's right. You dang non turbo guys... Ford dropped the ball making an "off-road" trim but without logical ways to mount a winch.

The swarfworks rear winch looks good and tidy... But losing the spare tire is a huge compromise for offroading as well (I don't want to mount in the bed or a chase rack)

Got the Raptor Heated Steering Wheel Retro-Fit completed today. Big thanks to @apetty for the guidance in getting this install complete. Install included the raptor heated wheel w/orange stitching, updated HVAC module with the heated wheel hard button & digital readouts, new SCCM and forscan changes. Have to say was def worth it.

I ordered a 402a and it was supposed to come with the heated steering wheel, but didn't. Do you know if this is something the dealer or a shop could/would do? Also, do you have to push the M button before using the paddle shifters on your new steering wheel? Thx!

I installed a permanent trickle charge (Noco Genius).
If I would have known that I had to plug my truck in every day, I would have considered buying a damn Lightning. Not!

Is that 2amp even doing anything for you? I could not get the battery to charge using a 4amp Viking, someone on here said the truck needs over 5amp to offset the amount of daily discharge if you don’t drive long distances. I went with Noco10 and the meter actually goes all the way to full now.

Swarfworks looks like it’s a good product but you can’t get anyone to return any email or text with questions. With that kind of support why would you buy from them.

I also had the dreaded "Remote Features Disabled to Preserve Battery" message on Ford Pass. This was yesterday. It might have been because I disconnected the battery for an instant while connection the new charger.

300 miles on the truck and Ford Pass noted the battery was low, I checked it, it was 12.2 volts. Put it on the charger for 6 hours, charger was putting out 15 volts @ 10 amps, checked the battery again, it was only 12.73 volts. Drove the truck 160 miles yesterday, checked the battery this...

Long day with little to show, trimmed the hell out of the grille, routed most of the IC piping. Will be installing the lights and sensors on the bumper tomorrow (maybe mount it too depending on how long it all takes)

All I can say is that after a while, the draw goes down. I have successfully charged mine with two different trickle chargers. It just takes time.
You need to take the key out of the vehicle.
I will get some more data when I have the battery monitor hooked up.

Addicted dessert designs makes an intercooler replacement kit that moves it out of the way so you can put a winch in.

Intercooler all mounted and torqued to spec, spent half the day getting the right tool to measure such a small torque value, crash bars also came off today. Gonna try to finish mounting the lights and wiring for ACC and blue cruise tonight.

Well it turns out the front bumper has two types of sensors, four of the same and then the far left/right side have a different type—probably for blue cruise. Local dealer only had one sensor, drove another dealer in Houston (40 miles away) to pick another one up… four hour round trip.

Anyone wanna go halfsies on a tank to clear the roads?
