Ha! I know a guy that knows a guy that knows a long time ford tech/trainer who I paid $500 to for him and the tranny tech to split and they put my truck to the front of the line and put it through warranty.

The tech rebuilt the tranny, knew exactly what the problem was, and did basically what the TSB says (bad seals on 21-22 trucks in the clutch packs). He said it was definitely a warranty issue, he replaces those clutch packs seals often for the same problem. Unfortunately, I had to pay for what should be free, but it was $500 well spent because it's all fixed and I got it back two days before my wedding road trip. I wish I had met him before I wasted two months and spent $1500 on rentals from dealers that were being fkers.

Got my Roof Top Tent finally, all aluminum, 4 season, diesel heater port, queen mattress. Can't wait to get it mounted and test it out.

Yes sir. I ordered back in February when they where manufacturing their first aluminum batch. The first one shipped in July and took about three days from CO to NC but arrived damaged by the shipper. I refused delivery and conne
contacted 4x4 Colorado who filed a claim and put me on the list for the second shipment. The 2nd shipment arrived two weeks ago and they shipped mine last week taking roughly 3 days to travel. I know they have them in stock, Chris and Blain have been very helpful. What rack are you mounting yours on?

I got the XTR1 from Xtrusion Overland at 13" height so the tent shouldnt poke too much over the cab, seems solid so far. I think with the tent mounted it will look pretty sleek.

I anticipate the tent sitting roughly 6 inches higher than the cab. I picked up the tent mounting brackets from Wheel Every Weekend that have proprietary nuts and rack specific mounting brackets so no one can steal my tent off my truck. I am running the Putco Venture Tec rack and was lucky enough to find a cross bar from Amazon for $30 when they are $230 from everyone else. Got the bar, it's new, has all hardware and the correct part number. Crazy Amazon sold it for $200 less than everyone else and it was the only one, haha.

Winter is here so the fridge and SoGen are in the garage. Just for fun plugged this cheep charge controller in to see if it can keep my battery topped off this winter with the limited sun we have. If it will a DC-DC charge controller with solar input will be on the spring things to do list.

Over the past week (ok 2-3 weeks at this point) I installed a RSI SmartCap, wired it up, mounted siren and radio with pigtail ahead of wiring those in, got the emergency lights installed and wired into the upfitters. Just ordered the Halo/Elka 2.5" lift and am hemorrhaging money like crazy here, which doesn't work too well when you make less than minimum wage per hour, averaged out. The list keeps getting longer... Still searching for a good wheel/35" tire combo- Mickey Thompsons versus Nittos, waterproof winch & mount, onboard air...

The Decked drawers went in shortly after I got the truck...

Installed the Morimoto 3rd LED Brake Light. Like the light, but wish Morimoto had included the constant red lights, when the lights are on. The red only illuminates when you hit the brakes then blacks out. Of course I painted the screws black, hate when you have black mods and they send non black hardware.

Painting is the way to go. . . someone on here suggested Perma Blue Gun Liquid to make them black. FAIL
The screws don't take to that chemical process.
