Diode SSC2 2.0 Mount Update

Update for all of you, I’ve decided to let these kits run in the wild for a little while before opening up orders. There are 3 sets running around with DD pods. Since these are MJF laser reinforced parts (essentially fancy strong 3D prints) I’d like to see how they hold up to a little bit of abuse. I’ve never used or tested this material before so it’s all new to me and I want these to be absolutely perfect when they reach your hands.

Also on the wiring backlight front. We had to use a fuse tap to get power for the backlights. I know that you can usually tap into the parking light wire but in testing yesterday I could not find it myself or with the help of the internet. I know there are a couple harnesses out there so those might be the solution for an easier install. But the main beam is a simple plug and play!

Baja Designs S2 Mount Update

The same goes for the Baja Mount, I will wait to release these after a bit of field testing from the Diode mounts. But since these S2s have no backlight they will plug straight in no issues.

My personal truck is a 21 with an STX grille. The avalanche 24 pictured is a black appearance package grille!

Update for the turning feature on the 24+ trucks, it seems that the turning feature is only enabled if your fog lights are not on. So if you have your fog lights on with your auto heads you won’t get the one sided beam if that worries/bothers you.

Considering the increased draw in power from stock fogs (SS2 depending on level, 25-30W for the Pro/Max, or the BD S2 pro at 24 Watts), can these trigger any factory fog circuit or BCM issues?
