Installed mine over the weekend. Super easy install. Hardest part was figuring out how to wire the ambers to the DTRL.

Helpful tip: Install 1 fog light and use the OEM one to help you aim it properly. Then install the other side.

Can I plug S2 pro’s directly into the factory fog wiring?
S2 pros pull 1.7amps vs Diodes SSC2 max 2.3amps. Both work off factory wiring. For Baja you need a weather pack to H11 adapter harness.

I appreciate all the support from those that preordered the S2 mounts, my manufacturing order has been paid in full for a month now and they just finished. Hopefully I will have them to start shipping out next week!

Would any of the after market fogs that have been thrown out on this feed have an option for white day time lights and amber/yellow lights for off roading?

Not that I’m aware of, diode has amber backlight

A switchback light would be cool. Had some in an old Tacoma, was nice to have the option of white or amber depending on the conditions

For the ones like Morimoto that offer an amber / yellow and white light option in their fog light assemblies, I’m sure one or both colors could be hooked to one of the AUX switches or just have one hooked up to the OEM fog light switch.

First wave of S2 installs has provided some great insight on what needs to be tweaked! All the mounts are working and fit great but V2 will be perfect. I appreciate all the support, V2 is in queue for bends and powder!

I have about wrapped up my 24+ f150 factory replacement fog kit. Since the bumper bracket was born here I figured I’d post here first and see what yall think! This is also gauging interest on my end.

These simple brackets bolt right in place of the factory lamps, the first version of the kit utilizes diode dynamics SSC2 2.0 pods. A Baja designs S2 version will follow. Let me know what yall think! Anticipate a drop before Christmas on Axismounts.com. To stay up to date my insta is Comet_cruiser.

*this is the lamp that is replaced

As always if I can help you with anything lighting, wheels, tires, suspension shoot me a messsage!
I installed the Axis Mounts and BD Amber fog lights a week or so ago.
One issue that I’m having since then that is not directly connected to the new lights but to the work involved in installing them (I think) is that on rougher roads or at speed (I-25 in Northern CO or washboard back roads west of Cheyenne, WY chasing U.P.’s Big Boy steam locomotive #4014) is I am getting warnings that the blind spot and cross traffic warnings are inoperative. I suspect that I might of loosen a connector in the parking sensor circuit. Once the road smooths out, the warnings will eventually clear, so it looks like a loose connector somewhere.
