I also had the issue with the AC lines freezing up and not blowing cold air which happened twice in the last two weeks. I took a video of it occurring to include showing the VIN label on my truck and AC lines with thick frost accumulated on them under the hood. The dealership then performed TSB 24-2168 on Saturday...no issues as of yet but still early.
 
TSB re-flash was done in late April and I've had 2 episodes of freeze-up since, once in May and once last week. Has happened only on a longer road trip where I am nowhere near a Ford Dealership to have them verify the condition.........very frustrating.
 
Anyone have an issue with the driver side vent barely blowing air no matter what fan speed? Only vent that never blows, I live in Texas, I need that sucker blowing.
 
Driver's side vent has low air volume for me too......

So I’ve still been having freezing ax issues, very intermittent. Never happens when I’m close to a dealer to have them verify it. No dealers in my area will just do a TSB Software update without the truck actually freezing up. So frustrating.
Anyway, I found this thread on the f150 forum, ( https://www.f150forum.com/f2/2023-ac-problems-545057/index2/?ispreloading=1 ) and check out post #136. Guy took a tube and attached it to the drain port off the firewall. I just did this myself this week and can say that I have NOT had any freezing up issues so far this week. It does now drip on the ground a lot more than before when parked like most vehicles do. I have done a combination of multiple short trips back to back and a longer road trip. While I still got the occasional high to low bursting of volume from the vent, it did remain cold. Temps here have been in the low to mid 90s and mild to medium humidity.
I will continue to test this and see how it works out.
Sure would be crazy if a $6 piece of tube works.
 
I've had pretty much everything done. Evaporator Core was bad, from the day I got the truck (stripped door(s) made cracking sound at start-up), evaporator valve and the A/C TSB. It has only frozen 2x, since April (when TSB was done) and both on longer trips so the odds of it every happening, when close to the dealer's shop, is near impossible. Ford corporate has not been much help either.

So liyerally just a short length of 1/2" od tubing and it slides right in or onto the port? I can see it on passenger side firewall but looks a little different than the pic from f150 thread so thought I'd check exactly what you did.

Yup. 1/2” OD tubing, found it on Amazon and it slides right inside the drain port. Push it all the way until it stops.
I’ve noticed tons more condensation dripping on the ground and in my garage when I get home.

Gracious, how much hose did you need until it stopped? I anticipated several inches but I bought a 1m length of silicone hose and used almost the entire length. Just want to be sure that aligns with your experience also.

It wasn’t much. Maybe an inch or two.
I got a 2’ tube and it was long enough to reach down the where the body mount bolt is and I zip tied it to that to keep it from moving around.

Alright thanks, I pulled it back out and tried again, stopping where there was some initial tension, about 3-4" or so. Doesn't take much to push through that and feed a couple feet. Ran some errands and agree def more condensation puddling under truck. If that's the drain though, would think a larger hose to go around it, vs pressing within it, may be better.

Yeah, going around the outside might be a bit better, will just have to secure it with a hose clamp. I have had zero issues with mine fitting inside the drain port though. I only had mine pushed in an inch or two, to where there was some initial resistance like you said. I don’t think it was a full stop, but it has been over a month since I added the tube.

I just picked my truck up from the dealer yesterday (unrelated issue) and took it on a trip down to Atlanta and back to Knoxville today….had zero issues with the ac this trip. Stayed nice and cold the entire trip down and back, did half the trip on auto and half on manual each way.

I do think the core issue is that the area where the drain port is, there is some air cavitation or back pressure going on. Which would cause the water to back up and/or not drain correctly and thus causing the freezing issues.

Right on, multiple options for whatever makes you most comfortable. I routed mine behind the plastic piece, zip tied to it and it drains just behind that frame crash bar.
Figure this way it's out of tire spray with mud, dirt, etc. Not that I intend to ever seek mud.

Very similar to how I have mine. Same thought, keep it away from anything being kicked up by the front tire.
I will grab a couple pics later this morning.
 
I just did a re-route of mine to the inside

. I didn't like the way it looked on the outside, and I was afraid of rain and snow in the wheel well. The drain hose looks close to the exhaust clamp but its not. Its just the camera angle

I tried getting a pic of it at the drain port, but couldn’t get my phone in there very well.
