Air Bags

Nice set up Fozzy....I'm looking to buy the Air lift 5000 with wireless one EZ mount . Don't do much off roading, would I be fine with either one of there air lift kits.... regular bags or built in bump stop?? Also what's the lift spacer there for I don't see that as part of there kits ???
there stainless bag kit seems to have everything for $525.00

The bump stops in the bags is probably personal preference. With the kit I have the bags replace the bump stops. You can get bags that go on the outside of the springs that let you keep the factory bumps. On my previous trucks I found the built in bump stops to be too close and made the ride harsh, empty or loaded. Swapped them out and the ride was so much better. Didn't even want to mess with them on this truck. But remember I go off road all the time. I have a 6" lift and the spacer is to accommodate the taller frame to axle clearance. It will not be needed unless you have a 6" lift.

Ok I may as well go without the bump stops as I will always run 5 to 10 lbs. of air in the bags regardless..... the stainless air lines also look like a bit of an over kill. Plus the cost saving so I'm going with AIR LIFT 57385 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VTBXN61/?tag=f150tremor-20

Brining this thread back from the dead as my truck has finally hit the dealership lot (used values have tanked though in the past month so we will see what happens).

For those of you with the 402a pkg with the arms on the rear axle for the auto leveling headlights, were those arms in the way of installing the air bags?

Great question ...my air bag kit is on the way probably wont get around to install for a while....let hope it straight forward install.

I can confirm the headlight arm are is in the way for the Ready Air system

You need to also buy their ride height sensor kit to relocate the arm. Their kit includes parts for both sides, but you only need the drivers side for the 402a headlight sensor.

That being said.... This kit does limit your suspension up-travel by about 2.5" by adding bump stop spacers. The airbags themselves have some hardware inside of them that require this spacer to be installed to prevent metal-to-metal bottoming out in the airbags themselves.

Looking back I personally wouldn't buy them again since limiting the uptravel makes the truck bottom out A LOT when there's minimal air in the bags when the truck is unloaded.

not what I wanted to hear I have this kit coming will I HAVE SAME ISSUE ??

Air Lift 57385 LoadLifter 5000 Air Suspension Kit

The newer kits will have a relocate bracket for the sensor if they are placed outboard of your springs. Inboard kits don’t affect the sensor.

Not sure why you ordered that kit its for 2015-2020. The 57355 (no jounce bumpers) is the one for 2021+ non PowerBoost. I have this kit and it does not interfere with the level sensor,

great ok I guess I got the wrong ones coming.....I will just return them, so just to be 100% this is the correct kit....

Yes, 57355 is the correct kit. It does NOT have the jounce bumpers. Kit 88355 has the jounce bumpers. Both these kits replace the bump stops and are inboard of the leaf spring. You can input your vehicles in your Amazon Garage and it will tell you if they fit your vehicle.

The headlight level system just misses the bag brackets.

Interestingly Amazon states this kit does NOT fit a 23023 Tremor. I am guessing that the seller just hasnt updated fitment, but it is good to see it clears the adjustment arms.

They list it as 21+. The 23’s only saw down grades nothing new until 24.

Haha, ya, steering wheel, bed cam and 5.0. Other forums are saying only parking sensors, auto parking and BlueCruise on top end models only.

I purchased the 57355 kit off amazon (they had a used kit for $279 so hopefully it shows up with all the parts haha). I also bought the daystar cradles. I wonder if I can install these with the wheels on the ground? My truck is leveled and my trailer has 400 lbs tongue weight plus I'll be hauling a dirt bike so load can very based on toys I bring.

I had RAS on my '16 F150 and don't like the idea of it on my Tremor since it raises the rear about an inch.

Finally got around to installing the Air Lift 57355 kit and the Air lift 25980EZ Wireless one.

Everything fit well, I ended up installing the Wireless one in the bed to keep it out of the elements.
It took me about 5 hours for both hardest part was trying to screw the Wireless one on the thin aluminum bed.
I ended up using toggle bolts as screws were just sinning in the aluminum.

thanks Fozzy for steering me the right way !!

Have the Airlift Loadlifter 5000 Ultimate with the Wireless One and Daystar cradles and it's great. Installed in a few hours by myself (well with dad handing me the right tools!)

In the process of installing the airlift 5000 with daystar cradles and am wondering for you guys that have levelling kits, did you install the provided spacer as well? I never did,but with the truck sitting on the ground I have a little movement on the bags. Still have to run air lines so not sure if that’ll go away once I add the recommend 5psi.

So is the bottom of the bag not mounted to the axle? And only engages the axle at a certain amount of squat? Thats what the picture looks like? If so I kind of like that idea, so that it doesnt limit flex when not towing.

The picture is when I installed and the frame was sitting on jack stands with the diff hanging. Once I put the wheels back on the bags sit perfectly in the cradle. You can see that when it would articulate (doubt I would ever be on trail that would have it do that much for this pavement princess) it would come out of the cradle and drop right back in without ripping.
