Buy the Daystar cradles and use 3-5 psi and you won't know they are even there installed off roading or normal driving. Air them up for towing and they act normal. I did the Air Lift 5000's.

Left to right- Lift spacer, Daystar cradle, Air lift 5000 bag no jounce bumper, brackets.

Did the lift spacer come with the Airlift Kit? do you need it for stock height?

You do not need the lift spacers for stock ride height. I have a 6” lift and needed a bigger spacer than what was provided.

Just ordered Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 Ultimate Plus+ and the WirelessOne + EZ Mount Compressor kit. Will be having it professionally installed by an Air Lift dealer. I'll let you know how it turns out.....
How did this install end up working for you? Did you also level truck?

Anybody know the difference between the DAYSTAR cradles compared to the ROUGH COUNTRY cradles?

Daystar was first and China copied it and sells it cheaper.

Sooo.... Took the new Travel Trailer this weekend out for the first time. I have a Curt WD Hitch. Tremor still squats an inch or two. Truck is not leveled. Trailer GVW loaded is about 8,000. Will the DAYSTAR cradles hold up towing this weight for long distances or would you guys bolt to bracket and unbolt it adding cradles if going off road. Jounce bumpers or not? I Will be doing alot more Towing than Off Roading! I foresee big problems popping a bag on a long tow trip with no jounce bumpers. Maybe I am just overthinking this! Thanks for any input!

I drove 1000 miles on my daystar cradles towing 9500lbs. no issues.

Installed the Airlift Load Lifter 5000s this past weekend. Turned out awesome! This truck has a ton of rear suspension travel. My friend who helped me with the install has done a bunch of airlift installs on ford trucks and had alot of questions about what and why I want to use cradles. Once I explained it and we started lifting the back end up with the jack he saw how much rear suspension travel the TREMOR has and was speechless. We were able to do the install with tall jackstands on the hitch and others on the frame for safety and the tires still touching the ground without compressing the bags to fit them in. It was clear to him that the bags would rip/tear apart if the suspension was maxxed out off road without the cradles. Leaving on the 18th on a 600 mile round trip with the trailer so I will be able to give more feedback on how these bags work out. Had about a 2inch sag below horizontal with the trailer hitched up while towing without them. Thanks to all of you pointing me in the right direction.

So the Airlift 5000 kit replaces the OEM bump stops?

If you order a 5000 kit with internal jounce bumper, how is the ride? Do the internal
bumpers stop axle travel at effectively the same height as OEM?

Also, is the Airlift 5000 series made specifically for Tremor as opposed to non-lifted F150? If this is a standard F150 kit I would think it’s short on Tremor due to the lift?

Yes.

I haven't noticed any difference in ride. Seems to be same bump stop height but I have no way to say for certain. Some folks run the normal 5000s with like 3-5psi in them instead of the internal stop without issue.

Hi I’m new here and I’m looking to order the air lift 57355 kit with the daystar cradles. Has anyone noticed a change in the trucks ride? Does it stiffen up the suspension? I live in the mountains and I do like to take the truck off road.

I replied to the other thread you started.

What lift did you put your on your truck to need the lift spacer? I have a 22 f150 tremor no lift and hoping the cradles and bags fit perfect. Definatley no bump stop.

I have a 6” BDS with a 5” rear block. I would need the spacers even if I didn’t use the cradles. Stock Tremor is fine. The 5000’s come with a little spacer if needed and the cradles add a little.

Okay I finally got around to installing the air lift 5000 with the daystar cradles. For the most part the installation was straight forward. The only problem for me was lining up the bag to sit perfectly in the middle of the cradle. I had to move the cradle to the forward slotted hole (there are three holes on the lower bracket) in order for the bag to drop straight in. I realize the bag also has adjustment on the top bracket. I don’t like the fact that the centre of my cradle sits a couple inches forward of the axle. However I felt this was better than having the bag rub as it comes up and down with the suspension travel. Anyone else have issues with this?
