Cat-Back exhaust ???

I decided to order the venom 250, but noticed after it shipped that i ordered the 3in. Out instead of the 2.5in. Now thereal question is, do I return it when it comes in, or just keep it and bump the rear pipes up to 3in.? Would the difference in sound and power be noticeable enough to justify the extra cost?

Honestly it’ll probably just weld right in might just need to use reducer. I’d leave the stock tailpipes alone

Specifically says on all of them that not for powerboost or tremor though, anyone know why? Can it be adapted?

I like their products from experience, plus the black tips and the sound is just about right for me. Deep with no drone. 4" tips is a good balance as well.

Looking to combine this with the AFE momentum air filter.

I couldn't find out why either...I had a Ford dealer compare schematics and they said there wasn't anything different between ours and a regular F150....but I called Borla, told them that, and they said no, it doesn't work.

Nope, and that's where my issue was with it...idk if the person I spoke to just wasn't sure or what. It was a very awkward conversation overall lol

That being said, I probably should have trusted the Ford dealer comparing schematics more vs that guy. It was enough confusion to keep me away though. So, I spent the money on wheels.

Maybe the drop doesn't line up to fit in the bumper slots, that would be the only reason I could see that might not work.

Someone else said that too and I have a strong feeling that is the case. Its also the only difference in ours and others that might not be noticed on a schematic quickly. I did see someone swap a tremor bumper onto a normal f150 and they had to extend their exhaust to fit the cutouts.

That's the only thing that would make sense, if they didn't say it wouldn't fit then they would be responsible for whatever it takes to make it work, kinda cya on their part.

That's what I was thinking, it's made to go under the bumper and not into bumper cut outs like the tremor bumper.

Response from Borla, should have a tremor specific system in a few months.

Looks like summer should bring hopefully a lot of tremor releases - exhaust, suspension, etc

Alright, bringing this thread back....anyone have any experience with cutouts? I was probably going to go this route anyway. I wanted downpipes (and maybe the exhaust) first, but there are no confirmed 2021 downpipes yet.

Looking for opinions on brands etc.
