Cat-Back exhaust ???

I think I will wait till AWE comes out. Hopefully I can retro fit it to the tremor to line up the tips. I haven’t heard a better sound for the ecoboost. This was on my 2.7.

Also, worth noting for the thread, I got a reply from livernois and they said they don't see much gain from EB downpipes. Rather, they see more from cat-backs. I thought that was weird....but that's what they said. I guess the bottleneck is the worst there....idk

I don't think there is a tremor specific catback system yet because of the already cutout bumpers. The existing systems for F150s have a different geometry because the tips come out under the bumper vs in it.

I've seen a lot of BAPs not have the dual cutout either, so not sure. I reached out to Borla by email and they said Summer basically.

Does anyone happen to know if the raptor downpipes will fit our trucks? Doesn't look like any f150 downpipes are around and it might be a while from while based on the inquires I've sent out...

Adding this as an option as well, HUGE 4" pipes are a massive plus for us boosty boys. Also, actually sounds really good.

I wonder how much it would change the sound if it was cut like an axel dump...I really want that clearance.

Ok I have to admit something, still don't understand after 40+ yrs of living in the area how I missed it, but I work about 4 miles from the borla plant. So I reached out with an email offering to make the sacrifice to help their R&D to develop an exhaust system for the Tremor. Still waiting for a response.

I've been asking the same guy since it was June or something like that lol. He did agree to give me a discount. I can ask them about a group buy? @modified

I don't want to chop up the exhaust on a $70k truck - want a reputable direct bolt on cat back that sounds good - I'll keep trying to be patient while they finish >:[

My point is they now have one they can get the direct measurements from and test it on, if they take me up on it.

Sorry just saw this, it was a black widow muffler only.

Mr Bad, what black widow muffler did you go with? Race Venom? Venom 250?
3" into 2.5"? 2.5" into dual 2.5"?

I decided to order the venom 250, but noticed after it shipped that i ordered the 3in. Out instead of the 2.5in. Now thereal question is, do I return it when it comes in, or just keep it and bump the rear pipes up to 3in.? Would the difference in sound and power be noticeable enough to justify the extra cost?

What did you end up doing with your Venom 250? Did you return and get the 2.5" instead?
What is the standard OEM setup 3" into dual 2.5"?
Any drone with venom 250? Did you go with oversized tips?

I kept it. The muffler shop was able to make it work. Haven't replaced the tips yet.
