F150 Tremor FORScan

Once you toggle the Glare-Free and it shows up in the main menu, can you simply toggle it off in main menu and it will automatically revert back to the Auto Low and Auto High beams like it was before or would you have to go back into Forscan and change all of the programming back to factory settings?
With the slider off it will be “manual“ high beams controled by the stalk.

Got it. That is what I figured. I assumed it would revert back to High and Low bow but you lose the "auto" function unless you re-code it back to stock values

Correct. The slider just disables the auto function, the as-built code determines what the auto function is (glare free vs. auto high beams).

Is there a way to enable eco coach on the tremor?

I haven’t really played with it, but in the IPC menu (steering wheel menu button) > Settings > Eco coach > show in normal (or something like that)

Yea I don’t have that in my settings. Was curious if forscan could bring up that option

is there a way to set up your drive mode to stay with last selected?

What are your current values in 720-01-01 ?

Has anybody tried or even seen Walk Away Mode?

I've heard in other forums that the option is there. But greyed out.

It's a feature they're including in their newer EVs and one that I've had in my GM vehicles.

I've had my Forscan forever but never signed up until this morning. How do I get the invitation code? Heard rumors new user registration maybe disabled.

I have made a few FORScan mods to date and have been testing additional mods for the Tremor specifically. I have enabled the digital gauges, bambi mode, auto start / stop disable and most recently enabling Glare Free / Adaptive driving lights.

I have completed the testing and confirmed error free operation for the glare free / adaptive adaptive beams. For those not aware the 402A (sorry everyone else) is equipped with adaptive driving beam capable head lights. Unfortunately they are disabled in the US trucks due to some outdated laws manufactures are limited by. Our friends in Canada and Europe get the more advanced system active by default, while we are stuck with auto high beams instead.

This is a slightly more complex FORScan mod due to multiple modules involved, but fairly simple once you are familiar with FORScan. Please backup you modules before making changes!

For those interesting in enabling this cool tech here are the as-built changes required (402A ONLY):

In the list below do not change the values in your as-built represented by "x"

Glare Free Menu (replaces Auto High beam) in APIM:
7D0-09-01 x1xx xxxx
7D0-09-03 xxCx xxxx
Note: a module reset in FORScan or power cycle is required for the menu to appear.

IPMA
706-01-01 xxxx xxx9

SCCM
724-04-01 xxx4 xxxx

IPC
720-01-01 xx8x xxxx
720-10-01 xxxx xxx3

HCM
734-01-01 xxxx xx01
734-01-02 x3xx xxxx
734-01-04 xx53 4E
This may be a dumb question, but for the Glare Free Dazzle lights are the only columns that need to be modified in ForScan the first two columns? There are three columns in the as-built modules but I am assuming that only the first two columns are the ones the need modification as listed by the values above and since you are only showing two columns instead of three like some other modifications?

That is correct. I was just lazy and didn’t type out the third (unchanged) group.

That is only required to register on the forum. If you purchase an extended license they will send you a invitation code. You can still get the free 2 month license without registration on the forum

I’ve been told it does not work on the ICE F150, but I have not tested it myself

Built the last day of September 2022, glare free enabled and working

However my headlights no longer have dynamic bending lol and I get a check headlamp system on the display on start

Have you driven around to test if the bending is actually gone?

The headlights won't bend if you aren't driving. Mine was built end of June 2022, glare free works for me and the low beams still bend.

I drove around the neighborhood and they don't bend anymore. Need to recheck values assigned tomorrow, but I looked them over today and they all looked correct.

There was a thread on the Gen14 forums saying 22MY Job2 trucks may not have the hardware for glare free so just throwing it out there that some of the last Job2 trucks still have the hardware for it. May have only applied to Canadian orders though 🤷‍♀️

Take a very close look at all the values in the HCM, particularly:
734-01-04 xx53 4E - -

An error here is the most common cause of of what you are describing. Feel free to reach out if you continue to have issues.
