You should be good to go if the warning is gone.@Robb1 was an issue with the HCM, I guess F = 5 in my head lol, will confirm tonight that the applied changes fixed the issue, but the start up headlamp warning disappeared so feelin lucky.
Pretty sure you can only get temp readouts on the 12", on the previous gen trucks the 8" was the large screen.Does anyone know if you can add the digital engine/transmission temperature readouts on the 8 inch screen? I know it has been done on the previous generation 8 inch screen. I saw Livinitup’s spreadsheet only showed it to work on the 12 inch display. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I also ordered a new Ford OEM HVAC AC/Heat Control with digital dial knobs…I saw there is some programming that needs done in order for it to work but don’t fully understand how to do it. Does anyone have knowledge on how to do this using Forscan?
Also thank you to everyone for contributing to this forum…I have learned so much and wouldn’t have been able to add all the cut ambient lighting / features and Forscan changes without the knowledge of the members!
I can't think of any. I love them, especially driving windy mountain roads at night.100% noob when it comes to FORScan, but after reading about GlareFree Headlights...this seems like a no-brainer. Any reasons NOT to enable this feature?

For the digital readout on the HVAC module: Create a backup of your as-built with forscan before removing the old module. Once the new one is installed load the backup file.
Some discussion on the topic: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...g-in-hvac-control-knobs-for-2023-f-150.14077/

As for programming your HVAC, it should just be typing in your asbuilt values and then writing those. The HVAC module is the 733 lines, and there are 17 of them, so if you do it manually it should take more than a few mins. You can also upload your AB files in Forscan without having to type them all manually. I will be doing this same thing when my truck comes in as I have all the parts ready to add the heated steering wheel back and got a digital temp HVAC since I have to swap that anyways.
Im in canada and all i see in my options is the auto high beam. How do i know if i already have that ? ThanksI have made a few FORScan mods to date and have been testing additional mods for the Tremor specifically. I have enabled the digital gauges, bambi mode, auto start / stop disable and most recently enabling Glare Free / Adaptive driving lights.
I have completed the testing and confirmed error free operation for the glare free / adaptive adaptive beams. For those not aware the 402A (sorry everyone else) is equipped with adaptive driving beam capable head lights. Unfortunately they are disabled in the US trucks due to some outdated laws manufactures are limited by. Our friends in Canada and Europe get the more advanced system active by default, while we are stuck with auto high beams instead.
This is a slightly more complex FORScan mod due to multiple modules involved, but fairly simple once you are familiar with FORScan. Please backup you modules before making changes!
For those interesting in enabling this cool tech here are the as-built changes required (402A ONLY):
In the list below do not change the values in your as-built represented by "x"
Glare Free Menu (replaces Auto High beam) in APIM:

7D0-09-03 xxCx xxxx
Note: a module reset in FORScan or power cycle is required for the menu to appear.

SCCM

IPC

If the Lighting menu says Glare Free like this photo then it is active. If you have Auto Highbeam then you will need to do the Forescan changes to activate glare freeIm in canada and all i see in my options is the auto high beam. How do i know if i already have that ? Thanks
I checked that screen and don't have that option so I will give it a try. Thank youIf the Lighting menu says Glare Free like this photo then it is active. If you have Auto Highbeam then you will need to do the Forescan changes to activate glare free

I am getting same message and using same version of FORScan and adapter. I just picked up my 2023 three days ago and thought it may be having issues due to new year model. What year is yours?Trying to get forscan to work over here. I got the obdex from the Amazon link in this thread. Downloaded forscan 2.3.49, got the license activated. Installed drivers on my laptop. When I plug into the obd port I get a green light. Ignition in on pos but engine off. Click connect and I forscan cannot identify the vehicle. Help!
