F150 Tremor FORScan

Found this on f150gen14.com forum.
Here is the thread for reference:

Activate cameras when object detected. Works on my truck now as it is a '22 with active park assist removal. Pretty neat, it turns on your 360 cameras when you are parking and it senses something in front of you vs just beeping instead of having to manually press the camera button.

Nice find. I had this on a previous MDX and liked it a lot, didn't know it was possible here.

What exactly is the Unreal theme? Does it upgrade the graphics or change the whole interface? I have a 402a and mine is disabled when I looked but I from what I can tell my screen looks great. Has the 75th anniversary splash screen.

I assume (yea yea 🤣) that you have the front sensors or does it use camera/ACC radar ? This would be sweet but I don’t have the front sensors….

Mine has worked like that since I picked it up from the dealer. It was a very “wow, this is pretty freakin cool” moment. No forscan mods on my end.

I have made a few FORScan mods to date and have been testing additional mods for the Tremor specifically. I have enabled the digital gauges, bambi mode, auto start / stop disable and most recently enabling Glare Free / Adaptive driving lights.

I have completed the testing and confirmed error free operation for the glare free / adaptive adaptive beams. For those not aware the 402A (sorry everyone else) is equipped with adaptive driving beam capable head lights. Unfortunately they are disabled in the US trucks due to some outdated laws manufactures are limited by. Our friends in Canada and Europe get the more advanced system active by default, while we are stuck with auto high beams instead.

This is a slightly more complex FORScan mod due to multiple modules involved, but fairly simple once you are familiar with FORScan. Please backup you modules before making changes!

For those interesting in enabling this cool tech here are the as-built changes required (402A ONLY):

In the list below do not change the values in your as-built represented by "x"

Glare Free Menu (replaces Auto High beam) in APIM:
7D0-09-01 x1xx xxxx
7D0-09-03 xxCx xxxx
Note: a module reset in FORScan or power cycle is required for the menu to appear.

Just did it today. Wow what a great option. It should come standard.

Yea, have to do lots of steps but pretty cool once done
I tried doing this but it didn't work, no errors just didn't work. What other steps are involved. According to the sheet it was one change for Windows up one change for Windows down. Did I miss something?

Its 7 changes you need to make. If you follow the forscan spreadsheet step by step. Thats what i did

OK, I see. I only did the ones where it says hold unlock and lock for windows down and up. I need to do everything. Side note: I can't find disable foglight cornering, know of this?

Yeah its a few steps to complete.
I haven’t heard of that one yet

If you find out, please let me know what it is. Getting enough nerve to Start digging into forscan. I have a 402a also. Thanks

Yeah, mine has all the parking sensors. I have Bluecruise as well, so not sure exactly which sensors are required.

I was nervous at first also. Double and triple checked, saved the files and everything was fine. I started with something easy like the double horn honk then checked that it worked and moved on from there.

It's looking like this is only an issue for trucks that had the Active Park Assist 2.0 force delete from their Active 2.0 package.

Ahhh good to know. My son pointed out how cool it was that the front camera came on when I got close to an obstruction. I was still learning all the features of the truck at the time.

I may look into adding the sensors to get that feature, sounds great!

I know this is a safety feature but is it possible to change the hands free lane keep from 10 seconds of no input until warning to 20 or so until a warning appears?

I think there have been a lot of folks interested in disabling/changing this nanny, but I have not seen it done yet. I would also welcome it greatly. I surf other F150 boards' FORSCAN threads as well continuously hoping for the day someone cracks this.

FORscan is a configuration tool, not a re-programmer, so there would have to be a setting for some vehicle somewhere that changed this.

I've been wrong before, but I would think this is in the firmware, and not a setting.
