F150 Tremor FORScan

Is there a setting for the 2023 with reflector LED headlights (401a) to have the front turn signals and c bar as the DRL? I see one for parking lights, but I don’t want the rear lights on, plus the amber turn in the headlight doesn’t light up with the parking lights.
I’ve looked through, but likely missed it if there is.
I would think the amber would look good on the tremor, but I don’t mind the outer bar on as well.

I tried the setting "Front (left or right) Turn" and changed it to "Turn and DRL" and it didnt work so changed it back to "Turn Only" ....and now I have lost the regualr C Bar DRL. The white OEM C Bar does illuminate with the parking or headlights on, just not when in drive. I did check the settings and DRL is enabled on the sync screen. The DRL is showing "DRL and Parking" for both the left and the right.
I even reloaded an older saved file (the original before any changes) and the C Bar DRL still will not illuminate.
Anyone have any ideas?

And that’s what I tried. The front turn would not come on, neither would the original DRL bars. After swapping them back to factory settings, the OEM c bar did eventually start working after a few key cycles. Not sue what the glitch was.

Ok, got it working now. Not sure what I didn’t do before, but I have my front turn signal (amber) as well as the OEM c bar as my DRL. The front turn goes off with the parking or headlights on. I tried keeping the front turn on as a position as well, but then with the marker or headlights on, they would never flash. Also since I have some LasFit LED bulbs in, they were way too bright for nighttime use anyway.
Will snag some pics later today, but it looks pretty nice.
I did also disable the Front Turn Outage as well so it didn’t fast flash on the dash.

Anyone figure out how to get rid of the "check surroundings" prompt in the middle of the screen when you have the backup camera on. It literally blocks the most important part of the screen when trying to view my trailer going down the road.

Okay I went for it. Apologies for the fingerprint smudges and glare on the screen. You can see in the one picture what people mean by the balance and fade. Where it shows in the picture is the default setting, and it sounds just fine, but if you move it even the littlest bit, it changes it completely. Like to the back, just the slightest, and you can barely hear it at all in the front. Best to just keep it at default I guess, even if it's technically incorrectly showing. I'll give Unreal Theme a try for a couple weeks and see how I feel about it and go from there.

Does anyone know if you still get normal updates to Sync (and perhaps to this theme) while using this theme?

I added the unreal to MY23 and the balance fade screen is normal, default is middle, and it functions correctly when you move it around.

You guys see the new offroad modes and gui changes on the new 24 tremor videos? I particularly like the speedo changes for the offroad modes. You think this will be possible with Forscan changes only?

Appreciate the reply and details, @ThickGatorade . Not super savvy on electrical/auto modules, but following the rough logic. Was hoping solution would be something I could toggle, ha, but guess that would be too easy. Up for jumper wire, if anyone has messed with and can advise. Thanks again.

Wondering if anyone has yet found a workaround, spoof, bypass, reprogram, jumper, etc for the nanny lockout features (USB library scrolling, or map inquiry, while driving). By far the most annoying feature of vehicle, to me, and would love to find a workable solution.

Safety first but most importantly from the vehicle “brand” infotainment system standpoint as well as some features of Apple CarPlay and Android auto when the vehicle is in motion, liability concerns takes priority over what a vehicle owner perceives as inconvenient.

I don't do android auto or carplay. But I survived almost 30yrs of music and navigation without any problems, with much of that spent loading CD's and fidgeting with CD books.

It's people's obsessions with their phones that causes incidents, causes people to wait at green lights, cars accelerating at red lights, etc, etc.

Is anyone using the OBDLink MX+ dongle? Everytime I try to do something, something drops the comnection
I'm using a windows tablet but not sure where the problem lies. The BT dongle is listed in the accepted list.
Could it be the tablet?

Get a screen protector for your display and you will get zero smudges or glare. I ordered one off of amazon and its amazing.

Works fine for me. It doesn't work on my company wifi though. It's a Russian site so some firewalls block it.

It’s from RandyEllisDesigns.com it’ll say it’s for the 2015-2020 but it does fit the 21+ trucks.

Go to Forscan.org and download the software. You’ll need the OBD connector as well, there is a link on the ForScan website for the correct one.

Download Forscan from forscan.org on your Windows laptop, and get the OBDLink EX adapter from Amazon. That's all you need.

every time i try to load the forscan site to get a new license it just errors out. so weird
