What's new

F150 Tremor FORScan

every time i try to load the forscan site to get a new license it just errors out. so weird
The site doesn't load at all? I would try a different internet connection then or a VPN. Some networks block forscan.org because it's a Russian site.

yea something with my router is not liking it. i got it working via cell phone.

next question. Anybody figure out how to disable the TPMS?

It’s from RandyEllisDesigns.com it’ll say it’s for the 2015-2020 but it does fit the 21+ trucks.

Go to Forscan.org and download the software. You’ll need the OBD connector as well, there is a link on the ForScan website for the correct one.
What brand lights are you using?

Thanks, One more question, did the installation of the light bar require any drilling? How easy/difficult was the install?

Thanks!
No drilling. If you have the 5.0 engine, you’ll have to trim the plastic bumper insert to allow the brackets to come through. Or you can get the 3.5 insert (which is open). Install was pretty easy, hardest part was getting the mounting brackets onto the bolts, and then getting the nuts back on by myself. Definitely take the skid plate off so you can get your hands on the backside of the bumper bracket where the nuts go on.

Recently increased my tire size and want to confirm a few things with others that have done this before I proceed.

New Tire Size: 315 70 R17

I used the spread sheet in the FORScan doc to calculate my HEX values. I want to see if others came up with the same for my specific tire size.

BCM line 726-15-01 change to xxxx xxxx 0Axx

BCM line 726-15-02 change to 5Bxx xxxx xxxx

Thanks in advance. Here’s a picture of my Tremor.

FYI you'll want to shoot for a slightly lower measurement, as the tire is technically a lower diameter as it rolls, since the weight of the truck squishes the sidewall. I think lowering by like 15% or so is about right.

Two quick questions:
1. Has anyone been able to lower or disable the reverse radar sensor volume when backing up near an object?
2. For the wake-chime (doo-do-doo) I dont understand how to subtract 8. I think I have an 'f' in that position.

It helps to understand what you're actually changing from the detailed tables in the rest of the document.

For "F" you would "subtract 8" to get you to "7".

My recommendation is to check the tabs for any modification you're going to make to understand what it is you're changing, as the values all have multiple settings tied to them.

Thanks! So looking at the table it is really count back by 8 not subtract 8 from f.

Nice. Location of change in forscan spreadsheet??
For this one I used the written bodycm instead of the asbuilt.
C'mon man! Spill the beans. Where is that option?
i went into the word version (not as built). I think it was ‘drl include park lamps’. I need to get my daughters comp as i screenshotted it. (Zoom in on the pic)

Edited to add: yes the above is the correct place to find it.

Does that impact turn signal at all?

Turn signal is a separate lower orange bulb at the bottom of the headlamp assembly, not the middle orange light bar. In Canada it is at least. Not sure about the US.
