F150 Tremor FORScan

Has anyone smarter than me figured out if the digital gauges for coolant temp/trans are possible with a 401a cluster?
another couple questions

HCM wig wag function anyone able to explain what exactly thats all about im interested to say the least.

is there a way to make it so advancetrac comes off at one touch on the traction control button instead of having to hold it down?

From everything I have gathered online, no it doesn’t appear to be compatible unfortunately.

@Robb1 , would you be willing/interested in making a YouTube how to? Also, would you be willing to do a "remote tune" Facetime or remote connect session if I bog down? Would offer payment.
There are already a lot of forscan how to YouTube videos out there. I’m not sure there much I would be able to add that is not already out there.

if you haven’t already, take a look at this guide from Livnitup from the other F150 forums.

Start small with a minor change like double horn honk disable to get a feel for how to use the software. Overall it’s pretty easy to use and you will be off and running in no time. Make backups before you start making changes and always double check you are changing the correct character before you write the change.

If you get bogged down I am happy to help, no payment needed.

Wig wag is the alternating flashing head lights you see on police vehicles. Outside of the HCM there has to be a trigger to activate that “mode”. My guess is they hardwire into the BCM and when the police lights / siren are activated it triggers the wig wag.

Damn was dreaming of an easy win and maybe it would be controlled by the main screen

Has anyone tested the global windows? (key fob up and down with lock unlock hold)

Well, shoot.

That seems dumb.

Unless all trucks will have it.

My cheap Gateway Laptop arrived for using Forscan on the truck. I made some adjustments without any problems.

1. Set Bambi Mode (Fog lights stay on when brights are on)

2. Enabled Digital Temps for Transmission and Coolant.

I may add global windows up/down via the remote later.
Tried adding temps to my 2022 tremor, did not work, tried it with the simple method (enabling/disabling) in the prewritten code section I guess you can call it, did not work. Anyone know the actual module and changes need to be made for the temps? Ill try that way later.

Also global windows open close not working as well, any suggestions?

I did both of these yesterday on my 22. Dont use the simple method, use the "As Built" section. You will miss things if you use simple.

This is what I used for Global. Reset the APIM after and then go into the Sync 4 settings to turn them on. I forgot that step after the reset and thought it wasn't working. Turns out you have to enable them in the settings after.

The digital temps worked too, just simply change this. You probably have the trailer brake controller so you would put E5.

Anyone found a way to use Zone Lighting when the truck isn't in park? Was trying to look for something along the side of the road last night and thought "this would be a perfect time for the zone lighting" but then found out it doesn't work in drive. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Mirror light buttons near headlight switch?

Anyone know if there’s a way to change oil change interval lengths? Wanna do 8000km oil change intervals which works out to about 50% of what the dash says for oil life.

Well damn, I didn't even realize those were there. I was using the setting in the touch screen.

I am away from home right now so I can’t check the current setting on our truck, but have a look here to change the oil life:
