What's new

F150 Tremor FORScan

I have a new one for the crew:

Auto Heated and Cooled seats.

This will adjust the heating and cooling of the seats automatically based on internal truck temp and selected climate control temp. You retain the ability to manually control via the buttons. You also get a on center screen indicator of you selection and whether you are in auto mode or not.

You need auto climate control and heated / cooled seats for this to work. I have only tested on my 402A.

Note: I just sorted this mod out tonight and did some brief testing. Everything seems to work well, but I haven't completed long-term testing, your mileage may vary. It works well.

APIM

Preform a module reset via the wrench icon on the APIM after writing both changes.

I like the Idea of this.. But from the picture I can't see how you gain access to activate it. It looks like you are in the "Audio" section of the display. That can't be right.. Does this pop up open when you select a seat heat or cool setting?

EDIT: I found the answer... Thanks

Without laughing at me please, I have a 400a, is it possible to add any of the trail control features with this?

I do not believe so.

2022 402a is there anyway to add more gauges to the drivers display? Currently looks like only room for four of them.

Not that anyone has discovered.

Forscan essentially can only enable/disable things that Ford programmed already for some model around the globe. Many times the features we add are standard on other trims but just disabled. If another model has the ability to have more than 4 gauges, then we could potentially copy that setting(s) and have that too. I'm not aware of any with that set up.

I am away from home right now so I can’t check the current setting on our

Just to follow what @BoostKing said, the 4 gauges across the top (two that can be changed) is consistent across all F150 trims. The Raptor has more options for the center two than we do. The Raptor also has the ability to show additional data in the center info area, effectively additional gauges. I have copied and tested all of the Raptor IPC as-build on my 402A and it does not allow the additional parameters or gauges. There is a software difference in the Raptor IPC unfortunately.

Well it helps, but maybe not in a positive manner for giving you a solution. You have 00 in the position which equates to Default Oil life Disabled. Now that could mean that disabled defaults to roughly 10k miles / 16093 km or that changing this setting will have no effect on our trucks.

You can test changing to: 720-05-01 xxxx xxxx 04 - -

That would in theory set you to 5k miles / 8047 km or 6 month default oil life. Worst case scenario it does nothing and you just change it back to stock 00. Best case it achieves your goal.

Thank you that’s what I was afraid I would hear.

Thanks! I can confirm when I did my first oil change just before 8000km the oil life was at 54%

Trying to find a drive for my ELM327. Any Suggestions? Thanks

Got this changed over drove about 3.5 hours seems to be counting down faster than it was before. Will monitor it over the next few oil changes. Thanks for your help @Robb1

Is there a way to display your cell phone signal bars on the sync 4 screen? I can see it with Apple Carplay but I keep my screen on either music or navigation and there seems to be a lot of unused space on the top section of both screens. I have a 21 F-150 Tremor with 402a.

Thanks in advance!

I haven’t found anything yet, but I will let you know if I come across something.

@Robb1 do you know if there is a setting in forscan to remove the air recirculation turn off override? It drives me crazy that it turns off all the time. I basically always want it on.

Give this a try:

This disables the “Enhanced Windshield Anti Fogging Strategy” which is the primary cause of the recirculation turning off.

@Robb1 coule you please tell me what module is used to turn off double beep on exit. Thanks in advance.
