Fender Flares

I'm not a fan of those. the same squared donut look and I would like something a bit more like what they did on the bronco or what xenon did.
Ah I gotcha. I thought they looked the same, but I see your point after comparing them side by side.

When it comes to flares I feel like there really aren't a lot of options and we just have to pick the best in our eyes lol

@Yeti and anyone else for that matter,

I spoke to Xenon and they are working on getting the tooling for these. They said their hope is that they will be out this year for our gen.

If this was already posted somewhere I apologize, but I didn't seen it here and figured many of us want raptor style flares so it was relevant.

Good stuff and thanks for posting this.
Yeah, no problem. They specifically said they were hopeful for summer (July-ish) but that could very easily get pushed.

I know this made me decide to wait on purchasing a set, so I passed it on

Fender flares are one if the visuals that set the Raptor and TRX apart from the factory and makes them look so much more aggressive/ sporty.
Fender flares are next on my list just haven’t identified which set to go with yet.

Why Ford didn't do them with this package I'll never understand.

I wish PaxPower would sell their flairs separately. I may just pay the $15K and get the Raptor treatment without power mods.

I get the impression someone pumped the brakes on the Tremor to keep it from being "too good" for fear of cannibalizing Raptor sales.

Why spend the engineering resources and associated testing of designing new control arms and knuckles for what ends up being a 1" lift that the regular F-150 suspension can handle with a little more spring and tweaked shock length?

Why limit the stock tires for your better-than-FX4 offroad model to the same size as the FX4?

Why do the Super Duty and Ranger Tremors get stock Fox damping and we get mystery-mush shocks?

3.73s and no optional 4.10. Marketed as AWD standard then limiting it to 402a.

I think the designers flew too close to the sun and someone clipped its wings but let them keep the appearance touches.

I think Ford gave us a lot more than appearance touches. Torsen, High Lock Transfer-case, rear diff steer and one pedal driving. The one inch lift does not seem like much but it has more travel than a standard F-150 and its the zero starting point. A standard F-150's CV's cry with 3.5" of lift. Not so with the Tremor. They do need to add Fox shocks in the weird orange with live valve. I can see the 4:10's being a EPA thing, the MPG's took a big hit as is. The 402A is priced in Raptor territory so you have to want one or the other anyway. But I do like the Raptor style flairs, all the rest blow.

Don't get me wrong: I obviously bought one and love it. I'm just rambling out a purely speculative idea that has come to mind.

Or the black widow. I like them a bit better. For some reason, those and the extenda fenders look like smashed bagels

Just to continue on what I was saying, if you email xenon they will add your email to a list. They plan on opening a pre-order when available and there are talks of a discount. They did say it will require a deposit though. Food for thought if you don't want to spend that 15k lol

Where is this side camera that makes or breaks some flare installations. PaxPower claims Bluecruise still works after all their mods and their fenders stick out an extra 3". Is it just the Manufacturer being lazy and not testing them? The Xenons say without side view camera.

The $15K is a pretty good deal IMO. Flares, wheels and tires, Fox Live Valve G2 shocks on all four corners. Raptor upper, lower control arms with knuckle, Cv's, break lines and axles. Gen2 rear springs, that I would skip so I can still tow. Plus they will do a 500 hp tune with intercooler on EB's and super charger with 770 HP on the 5.0. All while using genuine ford parts they warranty with full use of the suspension with 35's. You could have a Platinum PowerBoost Gen2 Raptor if you wanted in the Gen3 body.

It's the camera in the mirror but as I posted earlier it doesn't affect anything unless it come out past the mirror, that's per Ford, and just like the back up camera needing a recalibration it should do it itself if it really needs to be done. The worst effect is a shadow like what Yeti experienced, which mainly effects parking.

I just installed the Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender flares. Had them painted too match. Will install Fox coilover lift when they come out and new wheels with at least +18 offset to fill the flares. Still deciding if I like the look. Will have to wait till all mods are done.
Those look sweet, I believe they are the same as the Sema F150 Tremor. Do you know if install is fairly easy?
