What's new

Jan 10th Build Week Thread

Dealer by me isn't playing fair. I hear all this and he has almost my exact ordered truck arrive on the lot. He won't honor xplan but will sell at MSRP. He said they have been getting 5% over but he feels sorry for me with the new delays. Not sorry enough to honor xplan though

Where's the guy who builds these things he may have at least a hint. He was hoping to be able to build his own.

Their was a guy on this forum that actually worked at the plant. He was talking about watching his truck go down the line I thought.

So at 8 am this morning I called Ford marketing, they gave me the same info we all already know. DEALAYED FOR CHIP

Mind you like probably most of you I receive the occasional Ford personal rebates in the mail and I always send them to my sales rep. They all come back as not available on the Tremor or Raptor.

When I called this morning the rep said oh you have a new rebate under your name and gave me the number on it, for $2000.

I thought great another one I can't use!

I stopped by my dealer with number and low and behold it applies to the Tremor!

So I got invoice plus $2000 off that.

So the extra waiting makes it a bit easier I guess?

Check your mailboxes!

Also, they entered it into the computer under my order so it doesn't expire doesn't matter when the truck comes in

Sounds like a sweet deal for waiting. Learning from this forum I joined EAA for the X-Plan deal. I’ve called into ford marketing requesting a Brochure, trying that trick to get a PCO. Crossing my fingers. I’d like to come up with other negotiating ideas while waiting for my truck to show up. I’m concerned about rising interest rates. How much will the delay cost when it comes time to finance?

I think I am more worried about critters making a home out of the engine compartment. Tasty wiring.
This is what I am worried about as well. Getting our brand new 60 to 70k trucks with wiring issues due to rodents chewing on the wires. Nothing we can do about it unfortunately other than wait or go somewhere else. I got too good of a deal with xplan and everything to leave now.

I got the $3000 private cash offer in the mailbox last week. Good towards Tremor.

Just checked the tracker for the 5th time today, like I do every day, and BAM DELIVERED BABY.... allegedly. Going to confirm tomorrow. It had changed from 01/31 to 02/04, maybe they finally sent a trailer of trucks over to Granger. Hopefully some of you guys are also in there, check your trackers!

Unicorn 😎

The PCO's are pretty 'easy' to get but I think Ford's trying to save face with so many $3k PCO's out there.. very rarely would folks be getting the $2.5k offer and it seems like most are getting $3k now 🤔

Can’t wait to roll in to the dealership with my PCO, first responder discount, and The story of how it Will have taken me almost 9 months to get my truck with little to no communication from the dealership. All kinds of stuff in my back pocket ready to go.

Awesome - I know it’s been frustrating knowing it was built and not being shipped. Looking forward to seeing the in person pictures of it!

Okay, so they’re “easy”, but the question is still “how”?

When my truck came in, the dealer’s finance guy called me to get the paperwork going and he said, oh by the way you have a $2,500 PCO for the truck. I never saw it, applied nor inquired to get one. Just ‘popped up’. He acted like he got it for me… I have no idea how it all works…

It’s a separate company other than Ford that issues them. There is no real set it stone way to get one. Some people are building multiple trucks on Fords site in attempts to get one.

If you don’t mind sharing, assuming you special ordered, what kind of a deal did you get when you placed your order? When I ordered, I got invoice minus 4%. I’m just wondering if those who ordered and paid msrp, perhaps got the PCO because they did not receive invoice pricing and should have.

I've seen one or two people get the PCO plus below invoice, though rare. I got 3% under with Granger but haven't received a PCO
