Leveling Kit Question for First Time Poster

Why will they not install AS? Or do they just only install parts they sell?
They only install what the can get from their
Doesnt seem bad, to me. Was that Brian's Motorsports?
No, Music City 4x4. I’m not sold on them just yet, seem like more of a mall crawler trendy Nashville custom Jeep place. I actually live out in Sango in SE Clarksville

@Yeti, I saw your post about the Eibach kit. Is that a better all around option? I still don’t trust RC for there coil overs, if it truly is a better ride and more travel, I just don’t want to jerry rig a kit together!

I get it. The eibachs are comfortable for paved and dirt road but wouldn't go nuts if you were going to lift it. I had 1/4" more droop than stock with the front coilovers @3/8" lift (of 2.5 available)
I do like the eibachs for just about everything @ 3/8" lift. They rust quicker than crap, though. The rears are too short for extensive use.

I just ordered the AS 2.3” spacers and the 1” rear blocks from RC. Hopefully that gets it sitting level! I’m having the work done next week so I’ll update with photos as soon as I can! Since I’m taking the kit to them they quoted me $399 with alignment. It’s also the only place in town that Ford warranties the aftermarket upgrades through.

AS makes 2.3? I think it’s 2.0 or 2.5” right?

Stage 3 has the 2.3" spacer made by AS, they are the only one that carries it as far as I know, they had them make it for them.

I am between the 2.3 & 2.5 kit; do y’all know if anyone has tried to put 35’s using the 2.3 kit?

I emailed stage3 & they indicated it would work; just curious if anyone has real world experience

How do you know if Ford will warranty the level kit? Then even more specifically will the shop know for sure or did you contact ford?

In Chicago area and no dealers I’ve found will install, heck I can’t even get the few off road shops to even return a phone call.

I am wanting to put 35’s on the truck; but also dont want to risk going nose high with a normal load out in the truck bed

I am putting an RSI cap & maybe a Decked system - & am a bit worried about going nose high with the 2.5

My bad, should’ve clarified. Exactly as @FaKtor34 said, AS made it for Stage 3 Motorsports. That’s who I ordered it through. I was leaning towards the 2.5” and I’m sure the difference is extremely minimal, but I’d rather keep the CV angle as minimal as possible while still getting a leveled look.

I called the Ford dealer near me to ask about a leveling kit and they referred me to the shop next door. The Ford rep I talked to told me they would warranty the truck if the work was done there. If I wanted a lift the shop said I would have to sign paperwork saying it could void the warranty but I didn’t have to sign it with just the leveling kit. No guarantees but it seems legit. Time will tell!

I saw photos of the 2.3” on a Tremor and there was definitely a 1.5-2” rake still. Looked much better but that’s why I ordered the smaller blocks for the rear end. I don’t think the 2.5” will get you nose high by any means.

My dealership I use has a deal with RPM offroad, any work done by them is still covered by the warranty. As for lifts, engine mods, or exhaust. They handle lights, bed liners, etc through rhino linings.

Get the Roadmaster Active Suspension HD kit for the rear. Picks up the back 3/4+ depending on the setting and fights sag.

Thanks. Too bad only dealership that has survived near me sucks. Will be calling around farther away to see if I can find some place.

Being in TX may be an advantage to me. People do some wild stuff to their trucks and so many people lift them. I think the dealerships have had to get used to accommodating things as simple as spacers. Hope you find a good shop near you!

Just chatted with a local off road shop in Clarksville that specializes in jeeps but also dabbles in trucks. Spoke with their head tech who just had a Tremor come through last week to get leveled and he said regarding spacer levels - it was the best kit he'd ever seen but he couldn't remember what kit the customer bought. He said he was going to ask the guy and get back to me but he knew it wasn't an AS kit - I'm still unsure of what kit to install...

I'm beyond pumped for my tremor to come in a few weeks and I'll be sure to upload all the pictures as I install my mods. I'll list out what I've already purchased below but I've got a quick tires question: I've been running 285/70/17 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs on my '16 F-150 Lariat running Halo Boss' in the front and back and absolutely love them. Thinking about throwing on 285/75/18s on my OEM Tremor wheels with my 2" level unless anyone with a bigger brain than me has any objections! Only mods I haven't purchased yet are the level and the tires. I've got an Antimatter Blue 402A Tremor coming my way!

I'm getting pumped, for you.

If I did it again I would do the 285/75 I like wider tires on our area but love the skinny for almost everything

Oh gotcha. I ordered the AS 2.0. From what I’ve read the Stage 3 2.3 is actually the same as the 2.0. Guy measured with a caliper even.

Is general consensus that AS 2.0” level will fit the 285/75 tire size? & if you are thinking about 35’s; need to go with the 2.5” AS (or other) level/lift?

All this fretting over a .5” LOL

Apache- be sure to post some pictures as you start adding mods
