Leveling Kit Question for First Time Poster

It looks like you have the RC kit for coilovers, halolift, which I'm seriously considering just because they are rebuildable, and the icon kit which will net around 1.5" or just under that @Yeti is using currently, the Kings might work just not sure on how much lift you will get, seems everything else will net an inch or less on the coilovers.

That is the kit that I used on mine in the pic. The shop that put it on recommended not dropping the rear end as included in the kit. I choose not to drop the back ans this is the results. It is a slight rake but not noticeable. Afterwards I put some 295/70/18s on the stock wheels, and this is the result. I love it. Nice smooth ride.
Awesome. Thanks for the info

Hey guys,

This is my first post here and man, there is truly a wealth of information here! I was a lucky one who ordered a Job 2 Tremor in April and my Blend date is actually today! I'm beyond stocked and cant wait to pick it up hopefully next month or so. With that being said, I know there is a whole 50+ page post on leveling kits but I'm looking for some simple advice from all the experience and expertise on the forum: between the RC and AS spacers, which one do you all think is better build quality and keeps the most travel? I've typically avoided RC products but I've seen a few people on here have good things to say; I also know the AS has the offset design but not sure if it's just a gimmick or actually helps with travel. I would prefer coil overs but it just sounds like a spacer is way easier for what I'm trying to do and more economical. I'm looking to keep a little rake so I only want to go with a 1.5 or 2" puck. Thanks and advanced and I'm pumped to be a part of the community!

Congrats on the new truck!
Personally I went with the 2.5 puck from AS. There is a slight rake (very slight) but for all incense and porpoises its level. And about the "offset". I'm also doubting that it does much, as when I had the tires off doing some cleaning I can see that the upper control arm does hit the spring when fully extended. This was a bit of a bummer for me, but my pucks are just a stop gap and I plan on getting some coil-overs/control arms when the market gets a little better suited for the Tremor. Either way the ride is sweet and other than the height, the AS puck didn't change the ride feel at all.

Now, I'm not an expert, but I don't think that lifting the truck with a puck will give you any more travel. The travel is the same, the truck just sits higher. So you should be good with either of the two sets you mentioned.

But like you said, there is so much information out there it's like drinking through a firehose. Just know that if you aren't looking to put 37s on, and if you aren't pre-running with the truck, either puck will probably be just fine to level it out a bit and give you a consistent ride.

Good times!
