Leveling Kit

I work with ADAS at Blue oval and can tell you that you might need calibration done. Most the time the dealer can do this with the FDRS tool and calibration doesn't need to be done unless the ride heights that are input into the ADAS module are within the range of the new set up. If new set up is more than what the old ride heights were then someone will need to input the new ride heights and run calibration.
Can these parameters be adjusted in FORSCAN and it's so how?

That I do not know since ADAS modules have security keys for writing certain fields. That would be a better question for the FORscan guys. they might be able to tell you better.

What is the reason that this Rough Country kit...
  • Does NOT fit 2021+ models equipped with BlueCruise.

So many people on here are running this kit or something similar with no issues. It's probably their legal team covering their butts and they don't want to R&D their kits. I have a 6" kit and had to have the cameras recalibrated. I personally believe the size and weight of the tire and wheel package affects BlueCruise more than the height.

I recall seeing an install write-up thread but can’t seem to find it anywhere. Anyone have a link to that thread?

On which kit?

I don’t remember. Just remember seeing someone do a step by step write up. I think it was the the guy that had an antimatter blue tremor with coilovers and then got a white tremor and swapped them onto that.

This was procomp response on this kit.

Hello,

it will work on a tremor however the tremor has a factory lift installed, you would be removing that lift and putting this kit on but the downside of it is you will not see any additional lift on the tremor.”
That’s weird since you are using your factory springs. I have the Fox snap rings and I got a hair above the advertised heights. I definitely got lift.

Anyone on here that is running the Rough Country 2.5 kit have pictures of suspension after install showing full droop? I just picked up my 23 5.0 and this rake is driving me crazy. Looks like there is a 4,000 LB plow on the front. I have been through this thread as well as many others. I am concerned about CV contacting the strut with the RC kit and I would prefer not to run a puck level.

Can you post a pic of your new 2023 Tremor with the 5.0. Rear pics for exhaust. How does it sound and how do you tell the 5.0 apart from a 3.5 other than sound, any badging ?

No distinctive badges other than not having the Ecoboost badge on the passenger side bottom of the tailgate. As far as sound goes it definitely has some rumble for a factory exhaust. The exhaust set up on the rear is the same as on the 3.5.

I got the 1.5” AS level kit installed. Went from 4” of rake to just a hair over 2” now.

And yes I measured the level kit when it arrived to ensure it was the 1.5” not the 2”.View attachment 6037
@KAD . Do you happen to have a part number for the 1.5” kit you ordered? They do not list on their site. Thanks

We don't have the Ecoboost badge. So there is no external difference I guess. If you had two at a stoplight you wouldn't be able to tell until they took off. One would sound good and the other would be fast. :ROFLMAO:

At shop after adding RC 2.5 kit with monotube. I kept factory rear blocks. Measured when I got home and have about 1.25 inch higher in back than front.

Drive home felt great!

Nice!! I'm having the RC M1s installed later this week. I haven't decided 100% whether I want to lower the rear or not. The kit includes a 1 1/4" lowering block to make the truck exactly level.

I'm more inclined to leave the rear alone since the slight rake (~ 1.25 to 1.5") doesn't really bother me. Has your truck settled at all? I'm assuming your truck still has about 1.25" of rake?
